I stayed home from work today. Or rather I helped one of my managers move some adjustable bases then went to my store to do morning check ins and then went back home...... I have a sinus infection, so I talked myself into a little rum. If I don't watch it when I feel a little sick it will turn into something serious fast. Wife and I even left a really fun show last night early so I could get into bed and catch 8 hours. Happy surprise was my boss didn't even question me. I told him I would stay if he really needs me to run the team, but it would risk missing more days next week. He didn't bat an eye and said go home. Shocking how a sales company cares more about its people than a hospital... HR in a hospital that is.

When I think emissions regulation I think about it hurting efficiency. You might be right that the focus is now having less unburned fuel, but I ALWAYS think of catalytic converter, restrictive EGR and DEF. Most of actually hurt MPG. Efficiency eliminates the need for any of that. Those are bandaids. ^-------that

I could have ended up in one. It doesn't do much wrong, it just doesn't do anything amazing. I also feel that if I wanted to go that way Buick or Lexus could get me the same experience with less hassle.

Glock is just fine.... For me, it is just an emotional response. It a the gangbanger wannabe pistol from my childhood. I also don't like the ergonomics as much as the other options. XDm gets my vote. I haven't lived with, but did enjoy the S&W polymer device. If I could pick anything I would take the FN, but at 3 times the price...... And it's all moot as the best pistol was already made. St John Moses Browning already divined a tool from the heavens in 1911, and we can merely hope to refine this already flawless design.

Either of the 6 core 12 thread units will get 75% or more of the number I bet. And one 970 will get you 80% of the 980 for <50% of the cost. I exclusively went the way I did as I do like to game from time to time and I wanted no compromise.
