As for the cordivan...... I love that material. Even though one spot on my wing tips is wearing odd, they are still my absolute favorite. They have a double oak tanned sole.

This box had 3 loafers. 2 rubber sole "driving" shoes. One in bison and one 2 tone brown and tan. Then the Italian inspired (Gucci style) black loafers. Saturday I'm ordering a pair of cordivan wingtips in natural brown. It's a nice tan color. I don't own any loafers period, and I need something that looks better than my walking shoes but are not leather soles.

I had some hankooks on the m5 and had no issues. Making sure you have fresh tread on a snow makes Kore of a difference than the brand. Ie two cheaper sets in a lifetime may make senseThanks. Roommates summer shoes on the Focus sT were flat out dangerous. I'm not convinced a new set will help me that much when going forward. Backing up is scary as shit. I also do not like comfort mode. The AWD and slip diff make the vehicle too tame. It's unpredictable. If I put it in sport plus I spin more but it's predictable.

Mailman dropped off 3 new pair of shoes, and ordering another pair on Saturday.

Are Blizzaks the best snow tire still? For heavy German sedans that is. I don't know if new tires would help all that much but when backing out of my driveway I can slide 10-15 feet. Scary. When going forward I'm fine. I thought that I had all seasons on her.....

That is crazy Sean.... I'm benchmarking SSDs and testing their limits and never seen an SSD fail. What brand have you been getting?

I think Helga would like some winter shoes.... It was a slippery adventure today.

Got 30 feet into the driveway and the shear pin broke on the blower. Of course I was soaked, had to change go get pins... I won't be done with this driveway until tomorrow.

It's all good now. I changed the settings and it really helped. I figured since it wasn't crashing, maybe it wasn't running. :-)

7D mk2 and a 70-200 ISii. Then something wide for fun. You set then fam.

I missed this. What Sean said. If you go full frame you can "get away with" 24-70 and 70-200. If you use a crop sensor you will want wider. 2.8 aperture. IS is something you can deal without. I wouldn't want to on the long end of that 200 though. It really depends on what you shoot. I shoot portraits 80% or more. 95% are not posed. Almost 99% cannot be duplicated (wedding, birthday, event). So I care about IS and speed of focus more than someone who spends their time at wide angles shooting scenery. I'm horrible with long exposures actually. I don't practice them either and I really should. No crop sensor. The IS is very important as I shoot concerts (from time to time), and what are posed shots are few and far between. The reason for looking into an upgrade in body is also due to the development of faster shutter speeds, better mirrors, and a more efficent IS sensor. J I barely need the IS on the 24-75..... but I chose that rather than the ever so slightly faster focus of the Canon offering. It was nice that it saved me money, but for me at the moment cost is no object and I still chose the IS. It's not needed for most situations, until you end up in a church in Italy that was build before before the city burned to the ground. Crazy dark in some places. Concerts should have enough light to make IS not needed and you need to shoot those fast anyway. I would probably still want it though. If it was sports with a lot of lighting though, and I assume concerts to be relatively the same, I would want the fastest focus. How far away are you when you shoot a concert J?

Sold a bed to the VP of marketing for Gander Mtn and his wife. Super cool dude. I also sold a bed to 2 guys from Cray supercomputers this year. One is a friend from a long time ago. I didn't know he worked there. The other was random.

All the porn you have watched is there because some nerds thought they should film it.

Aaron is BOINC showing my computer putting up numbers? I changed some settings and I can't tell if it has been running. It kills my graphics drivers so I changed the work settings. The way I see the graphs doesn't show my personal output...... or maybe it can and I don't know how to look at it.

Body is next to worthless compared to glass. I wouldn't buy a new body unless you need a feature that a new one has and your old one doesn't.

If I wasn't going to ever have FF I would have this lens on hand at all times. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/967344-REG/sigma_18_35mm_f1_8_dc_hsm.html Double that if I'm going to shoot video. Having some IS would be fantastic but that lens is hot shit.
