Starting to show his age. Been needy lately. I think he has a cold bug. He's my buddy though. No matter how much I work and stomp around stressed out he is there. I will basically need bereavement leave when he passes away, I'm sure of it.

Correct. And I'm not sure on the multiple resolution question. I would call or email Nvidia directly. Maybe AMD too. If they do what you want and Nvidia doesn't... Makes the choice simple.
-
I doubt it would help much. Lightroom is a cpu bound prog I think. Processor, SSD and RAM make the most difference. What don't you have an NAS storage solution yet? Your problems scream for it.

Is $2/sq foot a good price for cheep carpet? I need it for the rental. It's the cheapest they had.

amd (amd bought ati) is pretty solid now days. uninstall is simple.http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/GPU57RemoveOldGraphicsDrivers.aspx#Win7 AMD blows. Every system I have been involved with AMD has been a shit show. Especially for those who don't know how, like to, or want to troubleshoot. Eyefinity used to be an argument... Not anymore. Mantle is slipping in its power. And Sean could give zero fucks about either. Nvidia runs cooler and uses less power in almost every comparable part. AMD is totally fine for people who want to save a buck and don't mind troubleshooting, but it is not better and it is much less stable for most people.

Shrimp sound so good!

Nvidia > ATI You should be able to uninstall the ATI shit without safe mode. Then again ATI drivers and working as expected isn't a thing.

I feel like most of the article shows that resting helps.... Maybe not enough for them to care, but at some level it helps.
-
Too tight on the tent, too hot in the oven, bad location for thermometer stabbing, or serious bad luck.105 is normally a shade warmer than extra rare 110 rare 115 medium rare On a bigger (thicker) piece of meat you can run it higher as the resting equalization is not as extreme on the heat creep. Tent and bad luck is my guess. I get so nervous it will cool too much. My house is cold. It was scrumptious however. Have enough left over for steak sammies today.

https://m.facebook.com/AmazingRibs/posts/512021602211669My kids make slurping sounds when you call it blood.Me too but the parent article is great. Amazing ribs website is awesome.

It was. Better than I expected when I saw so little blood.

115℉ was medium to medium rare! Whoa is me! I will have to try again. Thankfully my makeshift pan gravy was epic.

Yes, do it the other way around. NOT to seal shit in, but it is WAY easier to get the cooking time right.Turn your pan on high. Walk the fuck away. Get out 1.5-2tbsp of olive oil & butter. Drop in roaring hot pan. Add steak (already seasoned on down side) if there is a bunch of extra fat in the pan it will burn. Have a spoon ready, if there is extra fat spoon it on the meat to keep the fat temp down, but let the pan roar away. Once carmelized nicely flip. Cook it half as long on the down side and then throw into an ALREADY preheated 350f or so oven. Cook until internal temperature is to your liking. Personally that is around 110F on a ribeye for me. Take it out of the oven. Put it on a non-heat stealing plate (ie plastic), cover loosely with tin foil and ignore it for 10 minutes while you get the rest of the meal on the table. Eat. That's how I always do it. Butcher mentioned he gets less gradient from the seared edges by slow cooking the steaks at 200 until they reach desired internal temp.

Sean, I'm going to cook some double thick ribeyes. I stopped by a local butcher who has some awesome looking beef. I was thinking about trying the oven first and then sear them. Any tips.

Take them like your suppose to...Not eat them like skittles...But opiates are so much fun when you take lots of them. Yeah but you get constipated as all fucking get out Never did anything to me.

Take them like your suppose to...Not eat them like skittles... Doppie 10mg does nothing but make me mildy feel ok. 20mg is like coffee to everyone else. I get a boost of energy. 30mg starts to help revs me up like a stimulant but I'm high and still only marginally pain free. 40mg I'm stoned hard and just stop caring that I hurt. I'm awake like nothing else but deal with waves of being only able to listen to music. Coltrane or Mingus please.

If I take enough hydrocodone to ease the pain I'm high. I don't like being high when I'm working and can't enjoy it.
-
I have never had lower back pain unless it's an injury. Feels like arthritis. I'm now tramadoled up, so it a good.
-
My lower back is just a mess. Ouch....
