Sean is absolutely correct. Tyler did a good enough job. I also never add the egg and cheese to the pasta in the pan. I add it to a serving bowl or to the individual eating bowls depending on how you want to plate. Traditionally I only used yolk and discard the whites.... But I have become lazier lately. Just make sure the egg is really mixed or else the white will cook solid. That's gross for this dish.

Is that JL design so complex we can fab something up over a case of beer Sean? I'm completely with you on the bolt it and go witch though.

I might. People pics are hard to share and stay anon.

I'm happy that I am my worst critic. People liked my photos more than a friend who was an actual photographer. That was certainly an ego boost.

Sean, just build a wall and be done. :-D

Good subject matter?New boss? J It was my old boss going away party. And I didn't have the ISO high enough. Grain>nothing in focus. I couldn't get the settings right in for auto I SO and I got greedy. Had to shoot way too much at 1.2. It was so low light... Bounce flashI didn't want to distract people. Would have to use some unique bounce with the ceilings and being under the subject.Everyone was on a stage. Up the nose flash is not so flattering. That is a major bitch. Even worse if they are lit in red lights. J Yup. All reds. I am getting extremely efficient with Lightroom though. It makes WB easy. I still don't create profiles I hit each pic individually, but it's good stuff.

Had to shoot way too much at 1.2. It was so low light... I may have left it at 1600 or 3200 or some such. Catching action in low light with a ton of backlighting... :-( I need to increase the auto ISO, and decrease the auto shutter speed settings. The AF system even had trouble catching some shot. Calibration for each lens would be smart too.....

What would you consider that price point?Keep in mind I am a huge fan of Cutco, and Wustoff (spelling??) in the past. I won't be buying them for a few years unless something odd changes. I still hate that buying is cheaper than renting down here, J Wustof. I dated a girl whose mom was the head of sales at the time, i believe she was promoted since then but she gave me a 17cm knife... LOVE that knife. That is a garlic knife. Nearly useless size...With a little skill you can use a 28-30cm knife for the same tasks. For what i, and her husband (a gourmet chef) use that size knife for, it's more that enough of a knife to cut what we (usually) make. Seems pretty presumptuous to assume we are carving turkeys or slicing a ham with that tool. Thats just the knife we feel most comfortable using for most of our projects.Lol The same argument could be used that you presuming a 28cm knife is good for carving. Do you even circularly logic bro? Call the guy a Dick for pissing in your chereos, but your logic bomb was horrendous.
