    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Definitely understand the thinking. $600 bucks is the price of most last year flagship phones though. For me, cellphone technology is somethingthing I buy into whole hog almost every year. Only a few times have I been able to keep a phone for a 2 years. Usually it is just over 1 year. One year of phone use for me is like 3-5 years for most people however. I consume data.

I dropped my m7 HTC one all the time. I wanted it to break basically. This m8 is however slippery and not as rugged as the M7. That made my decision for me when the M9 ended up being a clone.

In all fairness I had just removed the screen protector and case as the both broke somehow without being dropped or Sat on. Wasn't keys eaither.

Why? Its whatever new version of gorilla glass is isn't it?Sure it is, but still isn't unbreakable. Non-glass screen savers SUCK I've never broken a screen and I gave up on screen protectors a few years ago. My current phone has a sapphire screen though and haven't had an issue. You have a Kyocera? I've been in the three plants that could have made those screens...You also carry yours in a big ass Otterbox as well don't you? I am a caseless guy and the thing to protect with no case is the screen. I've never used a screen protector before either as they look like shit. The glass ones however don't and will solve my biggest concern. You also seem to be less accident prone than the rest of us.J I have had a smart phone for a loooooong time. This is the first phone I used a case on and the only one I ever broke.

The LG being $200 less is just icing on top. The extra .5 inches of real estate is going to be heaven for me, as will dual application. I will miss front stereo speakers however.

And replaceable battery..... And the theme isn't stupid cartoons. And leather is sexy. And laser focusing with 1.8f aperture and arguably better optical stabilization. Samsung screen is brighter and can get dimmer(is that a word), but super saturated.

The M9 is a good phone, but the LG G4 wins out for me this time. My M8 has been a real trooper.

Did that yesterday. Ended up having to have a man on the inside put one aside for me.Since my phone will be exchanged I have to wait and do a physical swap. I went to the store. Would have done it sooner, but didn't realize the pre-order was open.Pre order only started yesterday. I'm so excited for this phone, sure it's a nice step up, but having a cracked screen has been a nightmare.

Nothing ever just works for me it seems. :-D At least I get to learn a ton. I would really like to celebrate my extreme come back sales weekend.... But that ain't happening. This location is an emotional rollercoaster.

Well I tried every setting. From gentle to Herculean Hammer drill. Just going to cut the brackets out and save myself hours of agony

It's probably rough sawn oak. Do yourself a favor and buy a decent impact and a set of impact bits and it will save your life.Oak 2x4?!?!? Crazy. It's god a slight reddish tone to it.

Rail being 2" long is okay, just angle the brackets for the motor. Not enough room to angle it. My garage is weird. There is a load bearing beam to hold up a second story for the garage.

My drill is bitchin. The screws are shallow flatheads. I switched to a hardened bit and turned on the impact setting and it just mangled the screw. I just have to cut the wood out and put on a new bracket.

I'm glad you like it. Makes me feel less of a fool. I want from 1/2 horse to 1.5 or something nuts too. Captain overkill 2.0. It was actually cheaper than the one with no back up battery and less features oddly enough.
