    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Download it and play it like a game. It's fun enough and great for passing the time. As I walk my store to get my steps in, I can play this game and catch some new words. It's pretty nifty.

I'm not even aiming for fluent. Just enough to walk around with and impress people I bump into. :-D

I have no idea if any of you are interested in learning a new language but there is an amazing App called. "Duolingo". It's free, I am using it, and it is pretty good. Just refreshing my French for now but I plan of using it to continue on with Russian, japanese, and maybe Chinese if they have one for Mandarin or Hunan

I really need to get over to Alclair. It's been so many months without phones. In going to perish.

You nailed It here. Tmobil is so much better in the cities. Where it works it is so much better. It would be awesome if I had service in the boonies but it's not their thing. I could literally get a pay as I go plan for satelite service and have a second line and still spend less than if I switched to Verizon.

And in what way is the pure better? I'm curious as to how you got there. The G4 is really premium to hold and use. Of you want a more durrable device the V10 is a tad more robust.

    Tmobil is amazing for me.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

HTC has almost always made the best finished package for a phone. They know how to make a device that is thoughtful. I do like my LG V10 and my LG G4 more however. I'm a super mega ultra user. I make my phones die. The LG products have the best camera. Its Real. They are amazing. IPhones are next. After that I don't care so I can't tell you. The V10 and my G4 are premium in feel and finish. HTC is still much classier. The LG phones have features I like a lot. The "second screen" on my V10 and the fingerprint reader are stupendous. The fingerprint reader doesn't always work but it probably will save hours from my life by not having to draw or type a password 95% of the time. It makes the Apple version look like failed tech. If you just want a phone that works, but isn't BLEEDING edge get aHTC as they are just really well put together software and hardware. If you are a hardcore user, let me know what you want and I'll recommend something.

If it's less than the 50mm maybe. Isn't J using a crop sensor though? Could be useful. My good friend shoots shows for a living she uses a 7D and a 70-200 is. She would like to have more zoom if possible actually.

Something else that matters to me is when I'm just walking around. The 1.2 is great for street shooting. At night it's ultra dope.

It feels like maybe you get 5mm of true sharp focus when up close.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Yup. I will do a face or a body part, but it's art and nothing else. The 1.2 is also a slow as fuck pig to focus. Half pound of glass moving around in there I bet. It's for low light and bokeh and that's it. It's not sharper. Probably softer in fact. It's heavier, slower to focus, more money, has a really far away minimum focal length. All of that is worth it. Every last bit. For me, where, and what I shoot it's gold. The 2.8 70-200 isII is my real workhorse. The 50mm 1.2 is my art and low light beast. For what I do it's so valuable. I could give up the 24-70 and my super wide and would only barely notice for 70% of my shooting. Maybe more.

Location, time of day, and style dictate this choice. The 1.4 Sean has made me decide I want/needed the 1.2. If I didn't have the money the 1.4 and even the 1.8 are enough for almost anything. The 1.2 makes a dreamworld of bokeh however and is essential at night.

For me or someone who does video it's "worth" every cent and double it. I do artsy portraits and a lot of the time I'm in dark dark places and cant/won't use flash.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

For you it is less important. I need to show you some of the pictures I took for the wedding. You will see why the 70-200 and the 50mm 1.2 we're worth every damn cent.

I don't rent. I should but I want to hold the lens and play. I don't learn unless I play. So I pay so I can play.

You have it down enough. My frustration is always living in the past or the future. So I'm just day by day pushing myself to do something. I'm not sleeping though. This week it's less than 5 hours a night average I think.

Yup. It was just fast walking and some running, and a few sprints for .1 mile or so. Probably at 85% max effort. Just trying to develop my wind. I have been on the elliptical every day, and I hit 7:01 for a mile lol. Actually moving my fat ass down the road and a machine are real different it seems.

Ran Lake Calhoun last night. 3.1 miles....I thought it was 2.7, so I feel REALLY good about my post highschool runs around that lake. I took 47:33 to complete it. I used to run that under 20. :-(
