    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Anything that is not moving should be shot at ISO 100. Always. Still life should never compromise. If I want to capture something in a dark room that won't happen again, like a couples kiss after they say I do in a church so dark it was built before Rome burned or built around the time the Spanish were in PR..... Well I don't give a fuck if I shoot at 6400ISO. I couldn't use flash in those instances either BTW. In PR I could have maybe used a strobe if I had a pack mule to carry my gear for me. :-D So Seth, until you shoot moving people aim for ISO 100. There is no reason to shoot at anything else other than being lazy or trying to test the way the body handles ISO. As for putting Canon glass on a Nikon body, have you found a joint that allows you to use the auto focus? Of not it's not worth your time or money, just buy Nikon and If that doesn't trip your trigger get some real dope glass.

I'm looking for recovery mostly. Thank you for the input. I purchase what I call "broga pants". Help with thigh rub and if it helps at all with that soreness, I'll spend some $$$ on real stuff.

Have any of you used compression shorts/pants, and what was your feeling on them. I'm having a lot of deep pain in my quads after I jog. Its worse than a really heavy leg day. Like a cable is being tightened from my hip flexor down to about 5 inches above the knee.

Lol. Can I borrow 10k so I can get a B&W body and one manual prime. I'll be the coolest hipster around.

Mike it's not letting me quote you, but the Olympus entry level was super duper dope for the price. I saw real prints that were with kit and macro lenses from that camera. The RSA had a portfolio with her. She is a semi pro photog not too unlike myself but she concentrates on business work where I do private work. The pics were great. Obviously not 1600 body and 2700 lens good, but the whole rig for body and some lenses was less than $1000. I'm sure if you went with just kit lenses it would be $500ish. Olympus makes good glass. They are an optics company first I believe. They make a lot of medical optic devices, Sean could probably speak more to their talent with glass.

If this is tough, don't hang out for too long because once we really get to know someone we basically just try to make each other cry in every post. :-D Sensitive thugs, ya all need hugs.

Sports authority was closing out Asics gear. I'm balls deep in smediums! Got a great waterproof shell, one cold weather, overshirt and a hot weather overshirt. Those Nike pro shirts are awesome. Longer than the underarmor style too and I love that.

So, since I have been super fat there is all this new stretchy work out gear. Where the fuck has this been my whole life. When I used to lift I was forced to use thick ass rash guards or make my own workout clothes. Imma be head to toe spandex.

Or as I said before.... Unless you think it's possible That someday you will spend >$1000 On glass, go mirrorless. The people I know that shoot for their income have several bodies, and almost all have a mirrorless in their bag somewhere or one of the Sony a7 like bodies. Even wedding photogs....

Meh. Its an old body. It depends on what features you want. CF is awesome. My friend who shoots concerts uses that. She rents a 7dii for shows when she can but it's her backup and she doesn't like full frame. I feel a 60 or 70 would better for a starter honestly.

He was smaller than my wife. I could have given him a shake and slap circa Sean Connery James Bond era. The Corp office did me solid. I was so mad I had problems putting words together. He was rude to my wife. I think that's what got me all pissy.
