    Lucky guy. I'll be on my way down to AZ on the 4th. Heat wave baby! =D prepare for ~90* Outstanding! I have a wedding however so I will be in a suit for a portion of that time. I've been sweating myself silly trying to get ready. I might get a gym membership just to sit in the sauna and get prepped. Different kind of heat. Ours is totally dry. Like ~10% humidity. no doubt, but I'm a sweat mo-fo. I love that dry heat. I'm so excited to be out of MN

    Those "most people" must be all bassheads For those of us who aren't, it has more than enough output. hey now. I am a bass head, but that doesn't mean I will accept anything along the lines of distortion. I really just love how bass feels and sounds. I'm just not willing to loose integrity of the sound for louder. SQ would be in essence trying to get as flat as possible, which to me usualy sounds terrible depending on the recording, and I usualy have to turn down the trebble because I'm sensitive.

    They haven't started around here yet. When gas gets to $5/gal I'm sure people will be thinking differently If it gets to 5 bucks a gallon there will be riots in the street. I'm confused why big companies that employee trucking and have waste fry oil i.e. Mcdonalds and the likes don't just have their trucks run on bio deisel, or at least suplement. I have seen rigs as cheep as 500 bucks for a prefab set up. Ah well.

    LB don't be afraid to dig in. I'm working out on how to get this done myself, and once you start the process you will find it's actualy easier and less nerve wracking than passives or some comp set. There are tons of inexpensive drivers that sound amazing and will cost you hundreds less. I just don't have a garage anymore and it's cold up here in MN. Apartments suck

    Bah, who needs horsepower? I could go every place that would be able to go in a diesel 'Mog, with better fuel economy Just a lot slower I does! Plus your mog is not as purdy as Old Blue and the price of diesel SUCKS!!! Price of biodiesel is a lot better than gas if you can get oil for free. places charge now. It's insane.
  15. This is Key. FORM and start low and slow, meaning lower weight and moving slow. I didn't start dead lifting until much later in life and it's nearly impossible for me to get down into a decent position to lift from. That is to say olympic bar with the standard 45's on the side. If I get another inch, it's night and day. I am a huge fan and though they are my least favorite to do, I work harder at those than anything else because it's my weakest of the big 3. I feel that squat > deads but, that's me. I care more about my legs and lower back and my shoulders and upper back just grow to keep up anyway, keeps my knees strong. Denim, have you ever added dips to your routine? I find that when I use a workout split that includes both deads and really leaned over dips my upper body swells fast. It's the ultimate getting ready for beach upper body combo to me. I think there is some truth to moving your body and weight through space vs moving weight and the majority of your body being still, is much much more effective. Every time I use a routine that focuses isolation, instead of compound, movements I feel I get much less results. Great post though Deads ftw.

    You sound like you have some great genetics. I have friends like you that I hate. WHen I say no sugar etc, I cut out milk and anythign with sugar or processed grains basicaly anything with flour even.

    I think this is the most important part of the intire thread for the OP. If you don't want peopel to stare( beleive me I grew up in the hood, and I go mad teased "run forest" was heard everyday), then get a stand for the house or stationary version. Pedaling FTW if you ask me, it's all about KISS with cardio.

    For cutting tried and true is to cut sugar and excess fat, and maintain a good level of healthy fat. And keep the sugar and card under lock down. In my case everytime I increase my protein I loose fat. I don't care about actualy weight really but I loose fat. I'm also 6'2 and 260 when I'm verry lean. Right now I'm extra supper fatty fat fat at 310, but I'll be stripping off those lbs the next month or so. I could lie and say I was bulking, but that wou;ld be a lie just depressed. To the OP in almost every trial I have heard of and in my own personal experience a great way to help you maximize fat loss but keep a lean muscular physique is to replace yoru carb and fat intake with LEAN protein, as in no sugar no fat shakes. Tuna, chicken breasts that you trim ALL the fat from etc. If you like soy, more power to you, it may have some fat fighting properties, but it may also have estrogen like properties, I'm not convinced on either, but LEAN meat > than any other kind of food period for upping metabolism and maintaining muscle mass.

    Why would you recomend to reduce protein durring a time when he would like to become leaner? That's a verry new theory to me.

    Protein Shakes

    I would switch brands, but the best mixing product I have ever used is soy slender. It can make any crap shake taste great and has a few flavors. At some point though I said, it costs to much to try to fix it. Drink it and deal, or find a brand that tasts good even if it's a few bucks more. I keep both on hand in case one day I need to wuss out and have a tastey shake lol.

    I hope chevy can jump in on this and give some science on this... Protein is so much more nessicary when you are lifting rather than just being aerobic. Protein and fat are needed to live, no matter what, and it's hard to get too much protein, or healthy fat for that matter. It's when you go way out of the realm of convention. Carbs are not as needed because the body can make sugars from the fats and proteins we eat. It's just more work.... It's part of why atkins works so well at burning fat. To sum it up, eating some extra protein is almost always a great idea, and I'm about 99.99% sure it will accelerate your goals.

    Newer models with turbo's have allot less problems it seams to me. I'm skeptical of the turbo myself, and I'm looking at getting a new car this next year. I like to get peoples opinions of vehicles. Up here in MN turbo's scare my with how cold it can get. Makes me nervous for winter use.
