    Welcome to the IHoP

All of the music in the house (except Cable TV music) is on the pc only. Did you set it up for every room? I am thinking about piping the sound to cheep satelite pc's in the rooms I will have audio and integrating sound into those rooms, and I'm looking for different ideas on how to do it. I have half of the wires pulled, but am waiting for ceiling speakers for the living room, dining room, master & master bath before finishing. Do you use an independant source for each room? I'm thinking about putting up a "station"(read super cheep PC to play music only) in each room so that different rooms can pull different audio from the main HT pc/server. Then I woould use a stand alone amp and pair of speakers in every room. I haven't bought the control system yet, but will probably buy this: http://www.htd.com/whole-house-audio/midle...34Pa38Ta38Rbhj0 It allows the use of external amplifiers, is computer controllable (convenient when that is your source), and has multiple inputs/zones. I really only need two zones, but this will allow that completely and it is rather modestly priced. That is pretty nice. If it can have all rooms use the pc as a source/server that will be my machine too. I just got vista on the machine, and without even having internet for the new drivers and the gfx card not booted and ready to go it self rated the machine at top levels for everything save graphix acceleration. I'm pee my pants excited to do some trials and play some games on that bad boy. I might even get a nice copy of maya to play with. =) also, the new raid x system is pretty dang awesome so far. anyone wanting both a stripe and a mirror function, I would go this way in a heart beat.

If you want a quiet system on the more inexpencive side, use the nZxt case called HUSH. The fans they come with standard are near silent. I have liquid bearings as back ups, but my friend didn't even install them as the ones that come with it are near silent. I also recoment noctura CPU coolers. I also hate dell and every design they have.

I need to find a gym that will let me join for a month or so, then leave. I have maxed out the weight on the marcy style trainer at my apt.

Ahh La Fin Du Monde is excellent!! Try the Trois Pistoles if you haven't already (belgian strong dark ale). I have some Stone Brewing Russian Imperial Stout on the way, can't wait to try it. I wasn't as big of a fan, I did like the one with the devil on it though.. I forget the name right now.. The damned or something. La Fin Du Monde is the best from them. Alchohol content is just right and it's so tastey. I also like delerium nocturnum, tremens is good, but mighty mighty sweet.

    New and First HT Setup

7.1 Sweet, I wanted to know that for a really long time... humm... seems like I need 7 channels then lol You do not unless the room is HUGE, and I mean MASSIVE. In my apt with 12' celeings and a 16x14 or so room and it leakes into the hallway, the 5.1 set up is nearly worthless. You loose all realism with the rear speakers being so close. When I had a 22x 12 it was worth it.

Same stuff again this time? I found out my ongoing sinus infection is mold alergies from the massive dank wet areas in my APT building. I can't wait to find a house.

At 6'2 and when you need a 55 in sport coats for your shoulders it's not going to be a real comfy ride. And the pedals are not spaced that wide from what I heard. But yes, it's an amazing design! damn. I'm 6'3" and wear size 15 shoe. Maybe I'm too big? Well, from what the dimentions look like on paper, it's not for me. I could be wrong sometimes on paper it's different. I can find the cabin specs, but I seriously looked at that car when I was in my all outr performace and eff the rest phase.

that vehicle is street legal. Cheep too for it's performance, at least in the UK. Here it would cost allot to get, and, no real door or roof, pluss all the hassel of 4 wheeles... I'll take the bike anyday unless I had gobs of money to throw at a car only for sunny summer no chance of rain, don't mind being uncomfortable, only performace styled car.

I have been a fan of the big bottles recently. La Fin du monde is great. It's a tripple. I have a few others I'm going to try soon, and I got a 6 of bells lager. I can't wait.
