I actualy thought this might have been Jim, playing a practical joke of some kind, when I read the first post. -
good luck! thanks! Pretty exciting. Congrats, where abouts? MapleHOOD. It's a better part. One block off 36 and edgerton. A .5 lot, 3-4 big healthy oaks in the front 2 man made poinds, 3 car 2200 square feet. It's small for me the soon to be wifey, and 2 roomies, but they will pay the MTG while I spend that money on an addition. There is a great option for an apartment above the garage stalls, gass already runs out there, and it's in amazingly mint condition.... Pluss 2 full size billiards tables in the basement man cave. Cool. I thought you were looking W and not E, but it sounds nice either way. me=W her=E me in E=okie dokey her in W=farther from momma and family, and gives less blowjobs I don't care too much anyway.

I know what you mean Aaron. I just pulled up my bank account and got out the calculator. I know I shouldn't. In reality, I can't.. But I might... I need to decide on a front stage before I start buying subs to be used when the sub I just ordered isn't here yet! lol.

gooooooooood morning Hippity HOP!

Boston set up looks like hell. The JL looked very clean to me.
-
SHOOOOOOOOT! I just spent my sub money!
-
from Good JL subs to bostons.... sure that does make sense... lul YOu obviously don't know much about Boston. Admitedly I have not heard a boston sub in 3+ years. I think I would still pick JL had I alread spent the cash.

Kinda like how nelly puts that bandage on his cheek?

Please no global climate talk.. It makes my global BP go through the roof. It's hard to argue with an enviromental zealot who has only read biased books and never done research or studied stats before.

SWEET! It's like a do rag for your car!

LOL, $150 for repairs my ass. National average on a car with over 50k miles is $80/month MK, $200 a wk? The math will prove is almost every time, buying a second car, unless you get 2-3 times the mileage of the first, will not provide a savings, at least not within the first year or so. Tabs, liscence costs, you still have to change oil in the truck several times a year, so you just added oil costs. The only reason to buy a mileage effecient vehicle instead of your primary is if you want a different kind of vehicle, and to reduce the use of your baby. Not to mow you down but, you also talked about performance parts for the saturn too. even if it gets you another 2 mpg and 20hp, the it will take a heck of a long time to make even the cheepest air box at $50 bucks be paid back by 2mpg.

that will help too. I fergot teh obvious.

I'm going to address the doors. I would go with Raam every time over SS, and miles above edead. In general you want to put a layer on everything, I would even suggest to use a wire mesh over gaps on interior body work, raammat over it. I would say ensolite is even more important than the Raamat for your aplication, but I wouldn't go without the mat.
-
I'm using 4 rolls in my expedition, and now I wish I hade ordered more, as I'm not done but getting lower than I expected. I also think ensolite is great I have only completed the cargo area and roof, but it's really nice an sold sounding now. Doors are noisey but I only BTXed the driverside and still haven't ensolited it. I think you will be really happy though.

You hit the nail on the head. What can you do... it's call subwoofer crawling. It's a PITA and more art than science. Put the sub where you listen to it, then crawl around the room untill you find a spot where is't louder/est. Put sub in that spot, and fine tune it from there. If it's not working rinse and repeate. It should take only one try but once in a really odd shaped room there must have been some messed up cancelation so we found the next closest spot. Usualy also if you only want innacurate high SPL bang bang boom, putting the sub in the corner can usualy help with that, but IMHO for most things it ruins the experience as it makes it much louder and really effects clarity.

that was some whore-a-rific posting!
