    Welcome to the IHoP

I can deal with a webber kettle grill I suppose, But I would like something with the ability to do it all. I will want to do from fish to thick brisket beef and pork ribs, the whole deal. I love to slow cook then grill and I think a smoker/bbq could really add something to that. any good places to start looking?

I wan't a smoker and a bbq/grill. At first I was going to make a brick type set up, but we plan on expanding on the house at some point, so I don't want to put it up just to take it down later. I also have no idea what to look for. I don't care about size/weight really, but it will need to be movable and verry sturdy. Enough room to cook for 40+ as we often have a big outdoor BBQ. 4+ times a year.

That website was SOOOOO slow. My roomate was on there while in the middle of playing WoW, and 90% of the people playing that game were AFK, and looking at that site. I didn't know it was a big deal.

I forget the cost but there is a nice big ken onion knife that I liked for kitchen knifes. The unique shape of the blade was really versitile. I have a nice wustof set, and I used the asain style kitchen knife more than the rest by 2 fold easily.

In this scanario no. as the alt would be crapped out. Basicaly fuse it, just be liberal with the size of fuse so you're not popping them off like bottles of PJ rose, num'sayin?

Matching with what tweeter? Big difference if you get something that can play really low, or perhaps go with a midrange that can play high and low so the midbass doesn't do much other than midbass. Also, can you vent it into the fenders or something to make it near IB or Aperiodic? If it is sealed and has to be that way how much space do you have for the enclosure? I can see how that didn't make sense....I was going for, I need to pick a 2 way system. Which 2 speakers both tweet and mid would work well, emphasizing on the midbass. So long as it images and is clear, I don't care much about the tweets. I could probably fit .75-1 cubic foot down there. Remember me, the guy who said he had no room in the kicks? lol

I have really dug around in my kicks, and I have a crap ton of room. I have decided no door speakers, at all. give me a quick snap shot of the best for midbass sq and output in an active 2 way set up, and can fit in a kick but NOT IB in door.

No. The w can't handle ocean waves and there weren't any inshore opportunities on Oahu. I looked for charters as I was going to go alone, but after conferring with the locals it didn't seem that many were real productive. Considering that I earned a TON of brownie points with the misses for the future by not going. Those points are gooooood. I've been working on building those up with the fiance, as I want a boat by next year.

    Sonotube enclosures

they are use for home use in most cases as they have such a small "footprint". They also look different, and are verry easy to build as the sides of the "box" is predone. Just add baffles and port.

If you need a backdoor tour of the area, I'd be glad to give you one. Amanda and I were taking a peak at >> http://baltimore.craigslist.org/rfs/733260425.html ....amazingly beautiful in every way. I wish my budget was there ATM.
