tinfoiled the top half of the window in the bedroom, should keep the sun from turning it into a sauna. Dunno who designed this apartment complex but they somehow managed it so that one of the bedrooms and the patio gets a full on blast of both morning and afternoon sun in the winter time. The brushy wooded area behind my unit helps out a lot with sunrise and sunset but not much else...

You'd think that since you can play them on MPC, VLC, BS Player, TCMP, WinDVD, PowerDVD, WMP, QuickTime and anything based on GStreamer or xine that you'd find at least a couple of portable devices that support the Mastroka container. Yeah but then again lossless audio on a portable device is really just a waste of batteries if you ask me...

I like a program called Exact Audio Copy...it rips it to .WAV first and then converts it to FLAC. There are others, though. People torrent FLAC albums just as they do MP3 ones, as well... WavPack works well too, encodes a lot faster than FLAC too...

and it appears that I'm expelling more gas than the local propane dealer tonight...
