ORLY? I suppose if cost was no factor. WHen I went shopping I couldn't find anything plasma @ 52" or bigger that was under 2k that I liked. I got 2 sharp aques lcds instead. Blacks, action, sharpness. The only bummer with Plasma's IMO are rooms with too many windows. Actually another bummer, only Panny & Pio make good ones and Pio is leaving the market. Ah no wonder. I needed mine to be good in rooms with uncontrolled light. That was a major factor in my purchase. A lot of the Panasonic's now come with anti glare coating, but yeah for the most part LCDs are better for rooms with uncontrollable light... funny too because I still have only CRT televisions and I've learned through the years how to properly orient them (and the lighting) in a room to minimize screen reflection and glare...I'll probably get around to buying a Panasonic plasma one of these years...probably...maybe...depends on how LED and OLED displays pan out...
