Word; I've found that the cart style gas grills + throwaway pie pan full of chips works damned good as a smoker in a pinch
-
Win! i bet your dad would love it! I'm trying to convince him but he thinks that he has "plenty of grills" (we do have to nice size pits, an electric smoker, a descent gas grill and old smokies.) and that he can "sear" just fine with what we have and he said something about having an open pit or some bs for searing... I dunno Insert Sean and dem beats (Sean as well?) perfectly crafted argument please... Tell him he can sell all of those for just ONE! Big Green Egg

I took a chemistry class in high school that is identical in scope to this and struggled to make a C My lowest grade in this course is an 88, and that was on a homework assignment; my overall average for the class is somewhere around 97-99 Its really not that hard, conceptually or mathematically; I think the biggest difference is maturity level/giveashit level

Considering I was able to convert almost 97% of the carbonate to salt I feel rather good about the results
-
I say that but really this is simple shit Measure a mass of sodium carbonate, record the weight and amount of moles Fully dissolve in HCl Boil all the water Weigh the remaining NaCl, record the weight and amount of moles Mass of Sodium Carbonate: 0.32 g Molar Mass, Sodium Carbonate: 105.99 g/mol 0.0030 moles of Sodium Carbonate Mass of NaCl: 0.31 g Molar Mass, NaCl: 58.44 g/mol 0.0053 moles of NaCl Like I said, I was having a major brain fart moment...its so simple now I feel embarrassed for bringing it up

Calculations for chem labs are fun

I just googled that and oh, man I've tried this before and they are so delicious. But no. It is what is it is. Biscuit cake. When you soak the biscuits with some kind of cream they get soft and you can eat it with a fork or a spoon. The cake part probably come from the shape. Most of the results I'm getting from Google are basically variations of this, using store bought biscuits: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Chocolate-Biscuit-Cake

Please try a different translation. Biscuit and cake are not so similar here in the US. A biscuit is something that is hardly mixed and rises and is rarely if ever sweet. Cake is self explanatory. Biscuit in this sense is more akin to a cookie or sweet cracker, like Pocky or biscotti

you mean like Jaffa Cakes?
