blargh @ long pants required courses...oh well, such is life by the way, am I the only one annoyed at people still using the terminology "cut off shorts"?

I've found that somewhere in the 225F range until the middle of the brisket reaches 190F works pretty well in the oven

played with a few of the removable vessel propeller grinders at wally world today; only one that actually sealed (and I use that term loosely) was a Mr. Coffee unit; controls were all electronic though seems to me a non removable vessel with metal bowl like the cheap Krups and Cuisinarts are the way to go, if not a full on burr grinder

though not as spectacular as 55-60 MPH to a dead stop

pretty accurate

http://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-SG-10-Electric-Spice-and-Nut-Grinder/dp/B001C2GWTI/ref=pd_sbs_k_2 You can see on the video where the top and the vessel come together; there should a gasket seal there but nooooo mine's the "coffee grinder" not the "spice and nut grinder" but they're practically the same thing

I have this one. Think I paid $13 http://www.google.com/products/catalog?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=s&hl=en&biw=1315&bih=747&q=krups+blade+grinder&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=5304746225896792363&ei=yOE8TZK8NcWqlAeoxcyfBw&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=5&ved=0CEwQ8wIwBA# Yeah that looks to be a more competent design than mine without detachable vessel though how hard is cleanup?
-
I'll try getting my hands on another cheap blade model and see if I can get the fucker to work; by shaking I'm assuming you mean full on cocktail shaker shaking? in that case yeah I can't quite pull that off with mine
-
the Cuisinart blade grinder I got sucks anyway; the top doesn't properly seal to grinding vessel and spews powder everywhere
