Ah, its new. That's why. Looks like a knock off and considering there is nothing proprietary about ceramic I don't see why that is a negative. + it is almost half the price of a BGE. I will have to keep an eye out for these. Yup, they're basically a Chinese made BGE clone; played with a floor model at Lowe's a while back

finally got around to splitting a few of the large pecan branches we cut off last summer and testing the dryness one on the brinkmann. No fancy moisture meter so I just threw it in with a tiny batch of charcoal and see if it would light (did it ever). Threw some Choice steaks from Sam's on there and holy balls are they fucking amazing. Steak texture/tenderness with an almost BBQ level of flavor and smoke. I'm genuinely surprised at the results.

pretty sure half ton axles like the D44 would work just fine with an oil burner XJ
