sort of how Gateway's and HP's and Dell's are basically the same since they all use Intel chips...actually that's a horrible example...but you see what I'm getting at? ...Right?

speaking of TI, is there really that much difference between (good quality) DLP projectors, since they all use the same TI chips?

Funny because for the past two weeks the local Wally World has been setting up Christmas displays all over the store, you sure its not already November? Seems to be normal any more, they even by pass Thanksgiving. If it were November I would be busting ass moving the Haunt into our new building. We close October 27th on the new building. Just went back into said store and they have Halloween crap side by side with Christmas crap in the seasonal section...in case someone wants to dress up as Santa for Halloween or somesuch...

Yeah I don't think I could do 5 a foot, when welding cable and Knu are both cheaper. But it's pretty, i guess that sells more than anything. Its not that much prettier. But when compared to Kicker, RF and Memphis wire, prices is comparable. And Welding cable isn't exactly a fair comparison. Cause welding 1/0 is actually a tad smaller than most car audio 1/0, so that that into consideration, and isn't pretty for those people who like that. And you can get pretty wire for the same money. But $3 a foot for CCA seems a tad steep though, for us internet people anyways. Also, Kicker and Memphis wire looks very similar to the Power Flex, and they both have the same strand count, at 4704. Just seems XS Power wanted to get a little piece of the wiring market. Regardless, people will buy it to match their batteries. Class K welding cable is constructed from ~1050 strands of 30 AWG wire while most of designer "car audio" wire is constructed from ~4700 of 36 AWG wire, so either way you're getting roughly the same resistance per foot, just a more flexible wire and some pretty insulation. As to whether people will pay 5 bucks a foot, of course they will. Just like some people will pay 5 million for a solid gold toilet or 4.7 million for a 1:8 scale model Lamborghini Aventador.
