I have no clue what two stage cooling is, to be honest. Does it mean a compressor with two stages of output? Variable Furnace means Variable Speed Furnace. The 80% Variable Speed Furnace + 2 stage A/C system has a higher SEER rating but we won't recoup the extra expense in the long run so I was thinking it would be a no-brainer and go with the single stage A/C and non variable speed furnace. But I have been wrong before...

Any HVAC people here? Or know of HVAC people? We're looking to replace our system and got an estimate from a local company. One option is for a standard A/C and 80% AFUE furnace, another for a dual stage A/C, 80% variable furnace. What are the pro's and con's of these different types? Also, they carry Amana and Lennox; the Amana seems to have a superior warranty, but a lower price. Do you get better quality by ponying up the cash for a Lennox?

Ag Science is still the best course I had in high school; we were one of only a handful of Texas high schools that had comprehensive meat processing as part of the course. Local ranchers would "donate" one of their herd for us to kill, process and pack. We got an education, they got an animal processed for free.

That's only if you were lucky enough to have chemistry available in high school

Here's my thinking In cells A1 through A65 list the Radians (0, pi/32, pi/16, through 2 * pi), then in cell B1 use the formula =sin(A1 * 60) for 60 hertz

Although the tax code does mimic the current distribution of wealth rather closely

Not saying it's a good idea or bad idea, mind you.

Agreed, I am a family of 4 and it really hurts each month to pay the payment. Same here family of 4, but ours is now based on your pay. I pay more than people making less money for the same coverage. Just does not seem fare to work hard to be promoted and make more money only to give more to this. That is total How did they come up with that idea?? The more you earn, the more you give. It's the same way our federal tax code is set up.
