Sounds fun. I sorta wish we occasionally had that here, make things more interesting--until my house gets ripped apart? We've had nothing but catastrophic drought over the last year (remember when Rick Perry called for the entire state to pray for rain and God responded by setting the whole state on fire?) so I'm about as close to dancing in the rain as it gets

Severe thunderstorm warnings and tornado watches all over the region; fuck yeah

Ain't nothing better than Steeler's fans crying into their beers!

They definetly make it look easy. lol. My dash pods are box carpet (felt) with no mat. The fleece works good too. With just resin its already an 1/8" thick. I'm sure the thick fleece adds thickness, but it's still just resin, mat is where the strength comes from. I guess if it's something small then it could work, but I don't see any good reason for skipping the mat, other then it sucks getting on your arms. Rebuilding my kicks in a few weeks, going to make them a little differently, hopefully they'll look better, be stronger, and sound better. I myself am not a huge fan of kicks. I like my foot space, I'm thinking of doing some new simple door pods... What will remove armor all? I can never get it off to allow me to stick tape to anything. Alcohol, denatured alcohol, lacquer thinner, acetone, etc. . . Be very careful with the stronger solvents as they can melt plastic. I love alcohol as a grease and oil remover; even works in a pinch if you don't have shampoo

I can't even imagine the 22.2 setup the screwballs at NHK came up with
-
To answer this and your next post it will not provide you with anything at all unless you have a massive room. Like nonsense big. Even then its more gimic than anything. That's what I was thinking, just another gimmicky format someone came up with
-
Basically, is there any real benefit over a traditional 5.1 setup?
-
random question: is 7.1 audio entirely necessary for the average multipurpose living room HT? Or any HT for that matter?

And I'm sure if I paid extra and upgraded the shipping they would have flown it from Louisville straight to Houston,

Models with the -LT suffix receive free lifetime traffic updates, models with the -LM suffix receive free lifetime map updates, and models with the -LMT suffix receive free lifetime map and traffic updates.
-
Some models are free maps for life, others aren't. Mine has free maps and traffic for life, Lane Assist that tells you which lane to be in, Route Avoidance, Enhanced Exit Services that tells you what services are available at the next exit, and a bunch of other cool shit.

UPS dropped off the Garmin today; got it registered, updated to the latest firmware, and it's currently downloading the newest maps. So far, so good...

Mid 70's all week long here

Odd, this was the first white Christmas I've had in almost 5 years

well its probably going to Colorado or something first then Memphis. makes sense in a UPS kinda way i guess.. This makes more sense. This would be closer to 65mph. so far its Louisville --> Nashville --> Memphis --> Houston
-
Based on google maps they're averaging about 10.6 MPH
-
I find it amusing it takes UPS 38 hours to ship a package from Louisville to Memphis

On the plus side all we had to pay out of pocket was for the hospital room

You'll think it even more absurd when your insurance gets billed 85 grand for a fucking broken leg
