The '97 had no bedliner at all and we scraped it as much on the bedrails as we did the bottom of the bed. Our '10 came with a dealer installed Line-X on the bed and the bedrails, muy bueno.

Spray on bedliners are awesomesauce. Especially when they spray it on the top of the bedrails.
