Blow-through in my bagged 95 fullsize chevy

Thanks guys.. Well the truck is painted, but it came out way to flat. Its supposed to be a deep satin/flat finish..Its going back to the body shop on Friday to get redone. It should look more like the tailgate and the front end..

Blow-through in my bagged 95 fullsize chevy

Got the box built tonight. Everything worked out really good. All I have left is bolt the sub in, run the wires, then put on the front and top of the box..once thats done I can set it in and figure out what Ill have to make for a front to bring it into the cab, then cut the hole in the wall..Should get that done tomorrow. New black carpet came today

Blow-through in my bagged 95 fullsize chevy

Pulled everything out just to make stuff easier, clean up the plastics, put some foam tape behind then etc..Going to weld a steel bar along the back wall to strengthen it. it flexes a ton already Still need some more cans to finish the seat. Where the hole in the wall will be. plenty of breathing room behind the seat testing the batteries under the seat amp fits nicely Where is everything? dont mind the little yellow spot lol Going to paint the visors as well. stained with coffee from previous owner..as is the rest of the truck An Idea of how it will look. Keep in mind it will always be darker in the truck wit the 5% tint and not a flash lol All the **** I pulled out Few random pic.where the truck and I live moms ride dads ride and house My puppy Chevy
  4. Thanks a bunch for the pictures...Well Ive been thinking and the only way i can make it work is slant the sub or make it downfireing...Here is a rough drawing i made up... The bottom slot will be about 5-6" tall and run the length of the box. The left side will be just open air that is below the sub..the right side will be the port. How much room do i need between the bottom baffle and the sub surround? will 5" be alright? heres a super rouch sketch of what im thinking about..
  5. I think I have about 18" even from floor to top of the rails. I will have to measure the width and how deep I can go. I just have to be able to clear the tubs and the notch cover. The truck is in the paint booth right now so it will take me a little time to get that. Thanks a bunch.

18" BTL with Kicker kx2500.1..Pics and info

just an update..ended up blowing the rear window out the other day..got a new one put in and he put a thicker bead around the window to isolate it a little better. Coming up this spring The entire truck will be RaaMmat'd so that will help with all of the flex i get..Im also working on a box for a blow through..Im just havin a hard time tryin to fit the sub in the bed because it cant be vertical due to the size..if anyone has experience with blow throughs or could help me with a box that would be great.

18" BTL with Kicker kx2500.1..Pics and info

Heres a little update..The battery is held down, just cant see from the pic..The amp is also secured to the amp rack and i did get it carpeted..Yes there is only one piece of 3/4 on the top, but there is a 2x4 going from top of the box to the bottom. I dont get ANY flex out of the box. I was afraid of it but its been fine so far..This is just temp until I do a blow through anyway..well heres a few pics of the amp rack all carpted..Still have to get this metered.. Video of the sub..about half on the bass knob..realized that afterward Just another of the inside Vid of the bags.. And how my truck is now..Gotta drive it through the fricken winter...
