Question about 15" ethos port area?
puscifer2 replied to osiris10012's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
As one of a few ethos owners, I can honestly say you will not be disappointed. These drivers are absolutely beautiful in every aspect. -
Well damn... If I didn't live half a country away... Awesome work!!!
-
There are a few of us, myself included, that may have to thread jack this just to have some ACTUAL reviews of the Ethos... Lol

^^ thisWe didn't play well enough and were given the Ghana game. Opposite could be said about the Portugal game.As for a trade though, I'll take it. Beating Germany to get in would be stellar although not needed. I thought it was a really exciting game. Until the last :45. You do have a point, this scenario makes the game against Germany that much more interesting.

Be glad you don't live here... Fml. The ONLY good part is low crime rates, comparatively.

Thanks Sundown for having NO customer support

Doesn't matter, there is still absolutely no excuse for this. Even if it was announced, the message they are sending to their dealers is that they don't care about them. Furthermore, it was mishanlded after the fact of actually making contact. Whomever answered the phone should have called Jacob or the person who makes the Nightshades and informed them that they need one assembled ASAP and overnighted. That is the only way to make this right, given the OP's comments are the full truth. Agreed. My point was there is a reason for this lapse in c/s ( doesn't make it right ) on the other hand according to the op this isn't the first time c/s has failed. Hopefully sundown makes it right, can't say that they keep the op as a dealer tho... -

Not trying to be an ass, but it was announced before slam that they would be running a skeleton crew for a bit. -
Hey man, I'm another utah guy. Salt lake area tho. I've heard a few soundqubed setups before. Decent equipment that's for sure. Welcome to the forum!

Is it sitting on the rear bump stops? If so suspension upgrades will be in your future. I need to get out of utah, all the good stuff seems to be way east of here. Awesome job senchez!

Try kylar96 he's in Layton area I believe. I live in slc but I'm no good at design atm. Been learning some stuff from loudspeaker design cookbook and the interwebz tho. -
I feel your pain bro... I had dug myself into a hole trying to accomplish a good ground pounder. All in I'm about 13x what I paid for the car to begin with.

charging system problems
puscifer2 replied to frogcase2002's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Check for batt voltage at the alt with the key off. If that's good then check the 30a fuse for the exciter. If they are both good then it's the alt that's bad. -

Did you change the fuse at that time? I think it's only rated at 175a -

I'm not sure on how your big 3 is done but the mega fuse may not even be used. If you ran a new wire from the alt directly to the battery then check the fuse in that wire instead. -

There is also a 30a fuse for the exciter wire. It's under the hood just not sure where beyond that. -

Yes. It's seperate wires to the starter and fuses. Just lift the cover and check for voltage on both bolts. -

Most common thing I can think of is the main fuse on the side of the under hood fuse block. -

What kind of car is it? Some newer cars have duty cycle that reports to the ECM. -
Good news all around! Congrats Q

Future reference, try the stuff from sounddeadenershowdown.com it comes in smaller easier to place sheets. Other than that very clean install! Nice work
