well did some measuring and stuff..... and i changed the box size. going to try and keep it simple. 55 long, 10 wide top, 12 wide bottom that way all the weird angles are out of the equation. but i am getting my tool box for the bed monday afternoon. and i will do some measuring and stuff on how to mount everything. other then that when i get paid next thursday i will probably order my subs. been working on my mids lately they are rediculous! i hooked two of them together for a 4 ohm load(roughly) and bridged them on my little MTX342 amp. so they are getting roughly 160 watts a piece! and man are they loud! hits the lows real well and the highs..... i can't wait to get the rest of my mids and tweets in there!

oh yea.... half a cube ported.... so Scott tells me.... i am going to get started on the box soon. i don't have the subs but the box is going to take a while to get right! I am using Baltic Birch instead of 3/4 mdf for the front top and sides... i will use 1/2 mdf on the bottom and back of the cab. i think i am going to use cardboard to get the front shaped right since it is going to be oddly shaped....

250 watts is rating...... i will be running closer to 350 a piece or more for comps, and will turn them down for daily.... as of right now right after the first of the year i should have them... will still be awhile before i get them in. door panels, tool box, amps, and wiring is all i STILL have to do!!!!! i am doing everything right this go round, and making it all nice and pretty too! lol

well i got all my mids, and tweets at the house... couldn't wait ot hear the mids so i hooked one up to my old boom box, it was probably getting 15-20 watts MAX, and let me tell you they sound AWESOME!!!!.... so crisp and clear! i can't wait to get these in the truck with around 100 watts a piece!!!!!! well anyway here is some pics of the mids, and tweets!

Well got my mids in and DAMN they are BIG!!!! 8lbs a piece! i guess i will have to mount them to the door instead of the door panel! besides that i hit a little snag and i will now have to run two 2 channel amps instead of one 4 channel amp. which will cost alittle more but oh well the mids are 8ohm instead of 4ohm like i thought they where..... so instead of 2 ohms at the amp for 200 watts total... i would get only 100 watts total, so 50 watts per speaker.... that sucks... so with two 2 channel amps i would get 200 watts at 4 ohms, so 100 watts a piece... which i think will be better! i will try and get pics up of them monday!
