play around with that midbass crossover point once installed...i didn't really like my midbass's playing over 125...it drug alot of the stage downward if it was higher than that...

You don't need a seperate midrange driver with horns...the horns cover the midrange region. The SLS's are a good choice for midbasses, though. i've done both...and i like the dedicated mid for lower midrange alot better than just a midbass covering midbass + lower midrange....was easier to fine tune for me...better stage too...

i have not heard of anybody using one of these yet.....interesting little things.

1. depends on how far you can shove them under the dash 2. i used some fairly inefficient audax 5.5's with my cd1pro's...a little level matching and it was right on the money...

not stage height at least the rest of it...who knows

i will make you a better one. my new towers are next....hopefully maybe next weekend....same drivers...lots more compact....

it was very fun to build... towers are the old peerless csc-x 6.5's and a morel mdt30 tweet....simple Leap crossover...sound pretty darn good though....ran off denon 2805...

it's kinda home audio....it holds home audio stuff made out of solid ash....1/4" oak plywood....3/4" oak plywood....lots of dado grooves....lots of pocket holes...and lots of tenons. fun project. since cso is the no longer....i figured if anybody from there...was over here...and interested...well...here it is...
