I talked to them, they said the show is really just for fun, but you can use music or test tones. The classes are based on what they call RMS watts. I added their flyer to the Independent events page. I also changed out one of the pics on the main page.

Yup, these are rain or shine, as far as I've heard the rain is a possibility during the day, but the evening should be fine.

There are no rules about podiums, because No Wall is considered to be a part of the Super Stock classes and those are allowed in Super Stock. As far as a db level, with the 2009 rules there is nothing, but there will be in 2010. Once the season is over I'll probably start a thread for competitors to voice their opinions and thoughts on some rule changes for 2010.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, i talked to Boomers and the have been assured that there will be no trucks in our way this time. So the show should be in the parking lot out back like it always is. Hopefully we'll have plenty of room inside too.

I sold the amp to the guys from ACT audio, I haven't really had any time to test with the Orion amp either. I've burped it three times and lost the surround on one of the subs every time. It's all glued again, but no time for testing.

I forgot about the other one, I'll give them a call today and see what kind of details I can get out of them. If it sounds decent I'll post the details on the website under the Independent shows. maybe I can talk them into running one of our shows next season.

Dave should be making the Boomer show, it's the Aftershock show he'll be missing cause he's already prepaid for the dB Drags 3X ion NY that weekend. Too bad cause he'll be missing two SPL events in NH that weekend.

We'll see, Dave L is no longer with Team Xtreme Loud Audio, so he might be there.....he might not.

Bill's right, we were giving them away to the 1st place winners at a show. Unfortunately we don't have any more, we might get some made up next season, but I'm not sure yet. We are planning on a new design for next season, those we'll have plenty of.......but you'll have to wait til next season for those.

Ok, the Boomer show in Nashua is less than a week away, and the rescheduled Aftershock show is ON for Sept 19th. So those that aren't hitting the Drags 3X in NY can come out for this one, we won't be seeing anyone from Team Xtreme Loud Audio.

Thanks to the guys that did show up, it was a holiday weekend so I wasn't expecting a huge turnout, good thing too or we never would have finished. Hopefully I be able to figure out why Termlab sucked so bad today and get the issues fixed, I was ready to smash it at one point. Might have to pick up a better laptop, we'll see. I think there were only 19 competitors today, pretty good turnout. Seemed like a lot more of the shops customers came out to the first show. Either way, the guys from AudioWerks had a great time and want to run two more shows there next season. So we might be running our season opener with then again next year, we'll just make sure it's not on Mothers day like this year, or any other holiday. I'll get the results posted on the website by tomorrow and should have a few pics posted on our Myspace page as well.

The show in Chicopee Mass would be a closer show for him to come out to, the CT one would be at least an extra 1.5-2 hours away.

not a chance, I have a wedding to go to that afternoon so I'll be way too busy for that show. I won't be competing again til the Slapshow in Manchester NH on the 20th.

Should be pretty easy to find, coming off rte 95/128 it 's 6.7 miles on the left, it's right on Main st/Rte 38.

This coming Sunday, September 6th we'll be in Tewksbury Mass at AudioWerks. Registration begins at 11am, we'll be running both SPL and Slammin Bass for those that want to try both formats.

The AfterShock series show we were planning on running tonight is NOT going to happen. Due to the rain, Import Wars was cancelled at New England DragWay, and the AfterShock show only happens if Import Wars does. Import wars has been cancelled and not postponed, so we'll let people know for sure if the Aftershock show and our SPL show get postponed til next Saturday or not. Because we are doing this as part of a car show it's not up to us if the show happens or not, like you, we have to keep our fingers crossed that we get a show next weekend instead, but we can't promise anything.

yeah man i really hope the show doesnt get postponed cuz i wont be able to make the shows next weekend got a family weekend then damn, we'll just have to see guys, i hope it works out i wanna see wat i can hit with 1 amp and 2 15's damn rain better hold off Hit the CT USACi show on Sunday if the NESPL show on Saturday gets postponed. You can get metered there, they also use the Termlab.

I'll be hitting the USACi show in CT on Sunday, so kinda hoping for no rain then either. I'm pretty sure the rain we're expecting on Saturday if from another hurricane thats passing by, so I don't think it's going to change.

I won't know til Saturday morning if the show is postponed til the following Saturday. I'm hoping it is, I really don't like having to set up an run a show in the rain. Anytime there's rain I'm taking a chance with the equipment, rain on the monitor means no more 32" monitor for the season, I do have last years small screen monitor as a back up. But rain on the computer itself, means no more shows for the season, I don't have a 2nd windows based PC or laptop, get the idea? If it does get postponed, then we'll have the Aftershock show on Saturday night, and the AudioWerks show on Sunday. A double show weekend.

It's looking like we'll be adding one more show to the line up before the season ends. There's going to be a car show out in Chicopee Mass on Oct 11th, it's a Sunday. We'll be there running the SPL as usual. I'll have the details on the website soon. I've noticed that the only major car audio competition Orgs that really hold shows here in New England are USACi and dB Drags. I ran one dB drags show in Maine, and USACi has only maybe 4 shows this season in New England. New England SPL has run 10 shows so far, with 6 more to go. These are the numbers I was expecting to see from USACi and Drags this year, not just from NESPL. Can't wait to see what next year brings for SPL in New England.

Thats cool that you wanna build a wall Kyle. BUT, it's going to VERY expensive to do it right. If you want to do that class with a wall, you're going to need to run four 18's, and at least 10,000 watts to each sub, and on 16 volts. Having a minimum of four batteries for each amp will be a good start. Basically, your looking to spend at least $10,000 on equipment, airbag suspension and wood to run that class, thats to start. It's definitely a great thing to do with a van, you'll be able to do some nasty hair tricks with a set up like that. The Team 420 guys will be your best bet for advice on walls, they build some of the best walls out there. There might actually be a walled van already built for 4 18's for sale in New England. It's said to be the best wall 420 ever made, and has been proven to hit numbers in the low to mid 160's on 14 volts. Might be cheaper than doing the wall on your own.

No hints, you'll have to wait til the show. But here's a pic of the big trophies for the Top Amateur, Stock and Top Team that we'll be giving out at the Jammin show. The 50" in the middle is for the Top Team, and the 48" ones are for the Top Amateur and Top Stock Class competitors.

I'll have cards with me at the show in Laconia NH and I'll bring some on Sunday for the Manchester CT show too. Gonna be a warm weekend, looking to be close to 90 degrees both days.
