I would be but there are no real comps in my area. Would be nice as it would give me more motivation to get my builds completed.
-
That is the plan. Thats great! I think that would make a huge difference. I love all my IA products and so far have not been let down

More forum pressence would help a lot. Works for other companies.

Happy birthday!!!

They work fine in a 4th order. I have a 12" DP in a 4th and plays very well.

They just released the press release on their new amps. They have an 80.1 coming 9600@1ohm 14.4v

Peoples experience with IA Death penalties?
supragod98 replied to Travis.Iowa's topic in Incriminator Audio
They will take the power asuming the enclosure is properly designed and built. The 1500 watt rating is very conservative. -
There are no shorting rings of any sort in the motor.
-
They dont normally carry them in 10". Its because the tooling for the 10" basket isnt ready yet. They will make you one but it will use a standard 12 spoke and not the IA style basket.

Im not stating that you need to build/test/build/test. But stated that relying completly on software to give you real world results wont work. Use the recomended enclosure specs the manufacture give you and youll be fine. If you want exact tuning/maximum output real world building/testing rules all.
-
Came across this and want to share my own thoughts. Ive used WinSD, HornResp, BB Pro, and some others. Ive modeled and built enclosures based on these programs. After doing actual "real world" test with a WT3/DATS Ive found all to be inacurate. Better to build and test in "real world" then rely on software.

Huh I thought I did a pretty crap job on the vids. When I get more of the electrical in and have both amps hooked up it ill be . Thats on like less then 2k, box tuning much lower then expected and not enough port area. When I get the other amp hooked up then we'll be burping on 9kw . Didnt get a chance to T/L it but based off my last T/L I can tell its into the 140's easily. -

So I managed to get a hold of 2 LMS Ultra 18"s and would like some input on enclosure design. I was thinking of building a smaller ported enclosure tuned low. Any one have any ideas?

I'm not discrediting anyone. But I have been on a lot of forums where there are a lot of wahoos that make comments and have nothing to back themselfs up with. So with that being said I take advice from people with a big grain of salt as there are more wahoos then knowledgable people on these forums. I'm not saying I'm an expert either but I would rather get info from people with know how they people with info from here say.

Ok so who are they? If there are people who have won SQ comps please LMK who your are and what comps you have won. Id be much more apt to listen to someone with a background and has experiance.

Thread jacking my own thread. But audio-neon if you dont mind me asking what were the specs on the TC10EOM box? I have a pair sitting at my place in boxes and was thinking of throwing them in my girls car for fun.
-
Ah good point. They were aimed up from under the dash. I'll try see if I can audition another setup and see if it sounds any better.

That was a while ago. ID horns in an sentra. Had about 100watts going to them. Dont know they just had a harsh sound to them. I wasnt impressed much.
