The LEDs are really nice sets. We have an 8 series at work and man, does that have a nice picture! I still want a 860 series Samsung Plasma. Micro thin and such a nice picture. or a Pioneer Elite if they still made them

I'd go with the Panasonic personally. It's not much above your budget and it's a nice size TV with GREAT picture. At my place of employment, we carry LG, Samsung, Panasonic, and Sharp. I'd say Panasonic or Samsung for sure. Not a fan of LG that much. Sharp makes a wicked LCD too. And for those who think plasmas are a dying technology, I dont think so. All the issues that plagued first plasmas have been taken care of, and now many plasmas will last longer than an LCD. The Panasonics plasma panels are rated for 100,000 hours! And all new plasmas have some kind of anti-image retention feature, along with almost any add on component (dvd, blu-ray, PS3, Xbox 360). If I was going to buy a tv, it would be a Panasonic or Samsung plasma. No doubt in my mind. The colors are just as rich and vivid as an LCD but the darks on a plasma blow and LCD out of the water. And the motion on a plasma is unrivaled, although LCDs are much better than they used to be. Side by side, there is no doubt in my mind, that plasma is superior in picture quality period. It's not just Pioneer who made a nice plasma, Panasonic always has and they are making even more high end plasmas along with Samsung. And another thing, I have seen one, ONE Panasonic plasma come back for service since I have been working at this shop. Considering that our best selling TVs are Panasonics, that's is a pretty good statistic. Plasma and Panasonic FTW!

Hk has always been good quality stuff. I'd go with it, especially for that price.

I'd disagree 100% I am not a fan of Vizios (they are good TVS for the money), but I'd take a Vizio any day over a Polaroid TV

Thanks, I'll have to read this up.

I think we have all learned an important lesson here. Just out of curiosity though, what is an RDO coil?

You could always hide an amp and use banana clips to take the sub out quickly. We've done similar installs at work before. Flush Mount on a side, the use banana clips to pull a sub quickly.

Well I picked up this turntable from work. It is an interesting looking turntable and I just wanted to see if anyone Knew anything about them. Here's the pictures. It is a simple set up as far as the platter goes. Single belt driven but I think that the motor is shot. So I need to find on of those. The Tonearm was messed up too so I will need a new tone arm. And it is missing the Top Glass piece. WE had two of the turntables, the one i have is less complete. The other one is complete and the motor works so I got the shit end of the stick. Well if anyone knows anything at all about the tables and possible replacement parts, please let me know. Thanks.

Finally stopped raining over night here. Note to self: Fettuccini Alfredo with tuna instead of chicken was a mistake.

Could be a CD. If it's not the CD, it's gotta be the head unit because for all the speakers to simutaniously cut out due to faulty wiring or problems with the speakers is unlikely. Sounds like it could be a bad connection if it isn't the cd skipping. What kind of vehicle is this in? It could be something with factory amps. I've had vehicles come into the shop where channels on the factory amp go bad and speakers cut out, but its usually a single speaker that cuts out. Just my first few guesses.

THat's no good. Sorry to see that. I had the same thing happen to me with my first sub system. Except it was a tank of compressed air that put a hole in the sub and the sub was a shitty alpine type s. Sorry bud but it is bad.
