I hate top say it, I didn't like the Samsung soundbar at all. I hooked up a few of them at customers homes and there is very little output for what I was expecting. If you're set on a soundbar or something with very little wiring, I'll second the Yamaha YSP soundbars. Also, Definitive Technologies makes a nice CLR speaker. If I were to do anything, I'd rather do some nice towers up front and avoid the Bose speakers.

So I was at work yesturday, and a co worker walks into the bays, and say, "Todd, Someone just hit your car" My initial reaction was joy. I figured someone was hauling ass through the parking lot and caught ice and totaled my car. Come to find out it's some old lady who backed out of her spot and hit the front of my car. Messed up a headlight, broke the grille off completely and all the trim around it, messed up the hood =from where the grille got pushed in, and worst of all, there's a lip that got pushed over the hood so it won't open. No Even worse part yet, It's not going to be enough to total it, so I have to deal with insurance and all that bullshit. Second Time this car has been hit while parked....in 7 months of eachother. HOW THE FUCK DOES THAT HAPPEN!

I actually saw an install where they had a w7 in the steering wheel. Some magazine a few years back.

I think they have drugs for that....

I have heard Q and w7s. Both are quality built speakers and both do very well as a substage. However, the Q is going to save you money. And before people go JL bashing, JL is expensive for a reason. R&D and custom tooling. If you really liked the w6, try to hear some w6v2s. Those will be just as good as your w6s when talking about a quality substage and they can get loud too. I doubt these will get nearly as loud as a Q will while retaining good response, but just a random thought. As far as Rainbow goes, overpriced from what I've seen. You will hear it over and over here, the install is more important than the product you're using.

The way you get the best sounding bass is a solid enclosure. The means lots of bracing and rigidity. You will never accomplish that while using a trunk as an enclosure. I don't care how much deadener and fiberglass you use, it will never work as well as a traditional enclosure. Unless of course you're willing to destroy your trunk permanently.

As I said earlier in your thread: Those 5x7's are crap. You don't want them. It has NOTHING to do with oval or round and EVERYTHING to do with the fact that no one engineers a decent oval speaker these days. *exceptions always, but I don't know of any 5x7's atm Buy some 6.5" components otherwise you will be right back where you started. I am pretty satisfied with my JL XR 5x7s

Whatever is cheap. The way I see it, cable is cable, the yall do the same thing. Go to a welding supply shop or buy from one online.

Old School for sure. I have a Rockford 800a2 right now and cannot be happier. Another installer at work just put a Trans Ana in a customers vehicle. Mostly old school stuff. Chrome Rockford, and old school MB Quarts. I would love to get my hands on a Power 1000 Mosfet.

Eat 12 cups of veggies a day Interesting. I'll have to bet some veggies. The thing is, the only veggies I really like are carrots, Cucumbers, and tomatoes(even though they're a fruit). Would upping my fruit intake help too. without working out? Just add protein. boiled chicken or shakes every 3 hours. You'll drop crap loads of fat ASAP. There isn't a drug made that is as effective that is also legal. I've tried them all, and ones that no longer are. I've been cutting down carbs so that's helped a bit. I am going to try to make time to work out. I come from a family who is big into lifting. My dad is a competitive powerlifter. He could teach me a thing or two in the gym. He's about my height, 5'8" but like a little under 300 lbs. 22" biceps, at his peak he was benching 635, that was before his surgery. Now he lifts a little lighter which is still a lot! Fruit won't help. Veggies will displace other intake and will generally make you healthier. In the process I bet you drop weight. It's HARD to eat 12 cups a day and that is really the amount you should. Sounds good. I'll have to make a trip to the grocery store in the next few days. We'll see when my paycheck is deposited.

You could have a sub that is a low end monster, or a high efficiency sub used for SPL use that is louder in the higher sub range. Some people like deep low end bass(like myself), or some just want as loud as possible. All personal preference.

So I have put on the freshman 15 my junior and senior year. Pretty much since I turned 21, the beer intake has spiked. I need to get back to into shape. Any suggestions? I've heard about p90x, but know no one who has tried it.

DAAAAAAAAAMN. I'd like to try some BIBs with those, but seeing that I haven't built my Dayton Full Range BIBs, I doubt I'll do it. Only 30w, but look at the efficiency. Tube amp or small cheapie ftw.
