4 mw spl shows in minnesota!! Click here for info!
todd.brust replied to antonmiller's topic in Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events
I need to make it to some more shows this year. Can't compete though. The Towncar isn't exactly the ideal vehicle. -
I had a TC-1000 at one point. Tha twas built on the TC2 motor also. For the price it was a very good speaker, no doubt. Top notch quality. I had a problem with mine but that was my own user error :/ so if you want bang for your buck, that's a good bet.

It all depends. Can you find any of the specs on the PRs? -
Bridging
todd.brust replied to nickeveready's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Mine Will But that is a good rule of thumb. There is only a handful of multi a/b channel channel amps that will run 1 ohm stereo/2 ohm bridged. -

AE makes great stuff, but The ib15s are more for home use if i remember correctly. -
I love the face that you welded them on there! Have you done or are you planning on doing any deadening? I think sound deadening is the single best improvement you can do for your speakers. Just my $0.02

I don't know the parameters of the Atlas sub, but the Fi ib3 has a lot f/s and high Q so it would probably have better frequency response and probably better low end extension! Nice IB by the way. I can't wait to have a home someday. IB will be in my HT. -
Viper Alarm, that's it. If someone wants to go through the trouble of ripping my shit out while my alarm is blaring, be my guest.

Remind me of Mitch Hedberg. I like an escalator because an escalator can never break, it can only become stairs. There would never be an escalator temporarily out of order sign, only an escalator temporarily stairs. Sorry for the convenience Greatness RIP -
liar. you didn't understand the book I'd like to understand your logic behind this statement.

I was going to say Killer Clowns from outter Space, Same thing I'm guessing, but it was funny due to how terrible it is. The Critters movies are bad too but funny to watch Any 80s horror movie can fit in to this category. I like a Clockwork Orange, but I read the book a while back so I knew what was going on.

Another thing that helps is to take on new hobbies or activities to get your mind in other places. I had a friend who got off meth when he took up skateboarding again and has been clean for a couple years now. You just gotta get out of the situation that makes you want to use. My biggest problem quitting smoking was to not have smokes when I get into a car. I used to light up everytime I got in my car, whether I was going to work, school, or to drive to get more smokes. Stay Strong and good luck.

Addictions suck. I am recently off the cigarettes and it was hard and getting easier. One of my good friends is going through some problems with taking large amounts of perscription drugs and alcohol and is paying the price with the law now. It's better now than ever to get off, because the longer you wait, the harder it is to stop. Good Luck.

Minnesota in te house! Welcome.

What movie is that from? Really? You have to watch the whole thing. Classic and very good.

Not quite, but it will make the amps work a little easier at 2 ohms. Clipping will still depend on settings, and overheating will still be due to overdriving an amp. less current draw = less energy wasted on heat As apposed to being at .5ohm (which it will indefinitely clip unless you have a fairly good electrical behind it) it will clip less at 2 ohms than it would at .5 No! An amp will only clip and distort when you don't have things set right. Clipping is overdriving the amplifier. That happens when you try to output a voltage signal higher than the rail voltages, therefore "clipping" the top and bottom of the signal. That all happens when your gains are set too high, or bass boost is too high or on for that matter. Clipping still will depend on amp and HU settings.

I bet these are MUCH better http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er6i.aspx I can sense a bandwagon, first dd, now rf and I think they are not the only car audio companies to have earbuds.. Correct, Kicker makes several. Monster makes some too.

Show off SQ edition! Not just music with over exaggerated bass.

? calls? from the saints and vikes game pass interference, complete catch and the 1st down spot all completely jacked in one possession in overtime Agreed, the pass interference for sure! Stop talking about it. Just bad memories

Looking good. Those M2000s push a good amount of juice. Let's see some progress now! And nice choice on the HU, I have the same one, now I just want bluetooth and Sirius radio!
