ok this is a pretty newbie question. if i have 2 12s in a ported box and the recommended enclosure for one is 2cu ft after displacement, would i still only need 2cu ft after the displacement of both subs or another 2cu ft making the total 4?

would a sealed 15 be louder than a ported 12 in the recommended enclosure?

i think it sounds like a really good idea. it would be a good place to start like said before for building your own boxes.
