It's either a system ground (alt ground, battery ground, headunit ground, headunit ground plane, amp ground or amp ground plane), or a pinched/cut RCA cable. makin a list and for the amp ground it would be great to run the 1/0 all the way back from the batt? havent got that answered yet but i need to try a place where max ppl say is good still need to do the big 3 -how many of yal use inline fuses for this? i was think just from the positive to the alt pos if i use any fuses at all

That isn't made for whine, look at the specs it says Unity Gain not filtered gain or anything else. If you have whine that will amplify it just like your amps. If you only have whine at high volume levels on your headunit it will allow you to get more voltage out of your pre-outs earlier on the volume knob so it "could" reduce your whine a little bit, but it is not at all the right way to do it. On top of that Line Drivers IMO are really a waste of money anyways. All they do is raise the voltage from your headunit to a higher level so that you don't have the gain turned up as high on your amplifier to get the same output. They don't allow you to turn your amp up further and get more output, just have them do the same thing at a lower level of gain. So the real question is why the hell would you waste money on one? alrighty i hear u on the line drivers the whine is there as soon as the headunit powers on thus turning on all the amps and then i hear it i usually listen to my music loud enough it just drowns it out but its gettin really annoying what did u think about the run of 1/0 form the batt?

sean and whoever else me and mike were discussing today about the inline filter things like so http://www.trutechnology.com/products/line...r/ssld6_08.html and i think i recall correctly u called them some bs lol well the guys on the max forum say that this thing will help alot in the whine problem but at the tune of about 275 then me and mike were like how much would it help to run 1/0 from the neg terminal of the battery back to the amps? instead of goin into the frame this would be alot cheaper too
