    NEW build for the lows???

Ok so im really wanting to build a system that will play the lowest of notes loud, I currently have 4 21`s, well 2 wardens and 4 ddp's, but its really hard to get all that cone area in a wall, well at least with the 4, plus I snapped two of the neck joints on the dp's do to mechanical stress on the lows. Ive been leaning towards 6 fi sp4 18's, 6 ssa evil 18's, or 8 sundown x 15's, but im havin a real hard time deciding what to use, as well as what box I should go for such as do I want 4th, 6t, or just ported. I need some insight from someone who has a system that plays brutal lows, around 20hz. Any insight would be great. I got 2 jbl crowns for power so they should be adequate enough to push some lows. Anyway if you have some ideas or thoughts please throw them out, thanks.

    NEW build for the lows???

This is what I meant. And no im not trolling just saying what and why i am choosing. Truthfully id rather have the evils but its just so much more when your buying 6 of them, and with the specs being so close i cant see the reason in paying more for a similar result. If it were just one id get the evil.

    21" upgrades?

I was wondering if I could upgrade my motors on my dp's to the new neos when I get them re-coned? Also, I have two older model wardens I would also like to upgrade as well. Is this possible?

    NEW build for the lows???

Well ive been looking and the fi and the ssa are almost twins excluding price and 10 pounds, the evil is bigger on both. I just seen they went up to 799 and that's is a real big gap compared to the fi at 444, well about 500 fully loaded, and that will probably put the icing on the cake and make me go with the sp4's

    21" upgrades?

well even if there 15 - 20 bucks per basket thatd still save me 90-120 dollars, that's like 3-4 sheets of wood, plus my money tree hasn't been producing that much yield this year for some reason.

    21" upgrades?

I know, I don't want ferrite anymore, im asking if they will make my dp a warden. I didn't know how much cheaper it would be, basically reuse my basket and put that basket on a neo/warden motor and recone it with the warden recone kit. Or am I just gonna have to recone them as dps and keep there original motor. I bought mine right before they came out with the segmented magnets. I also have 2 original wardens I would also like to do the same with and swap the old neo motor assembly out and replace them as well with the new neo/warden motor. Or if I want new wardens do I just have to buy the whole assembly new. sorry not trying to be confusing I know the neo is used only on the wardens but I just wondered if itd be any cheaper if they could if at very least use my old baskets.

    21" upgrades?

I know, I have the older solid slug model, I wanted to know if they would basically take my basket off my dp's and put it on the neo motor assembly and keep the ferrite motor assembly.

    21" Warden in a trunk?

actually the 21's cone area is exactly equal to 2 15's cone area, thats why i got 6 21's instead of 12 15's

4 21's to wall or not to wall

4 21's to wall or not to wall

ok so im i finally have the amps and the alt and a few batteries so its time to start the build,my only problem is i have limited port area, i wanted to do 9 cubic foot per sub(36ft3 after sub and port displacement) with port at 16sqin per cube which comes out to 576in2 port, upon measuring i found that my maximum port area can only be 477in2 which is almost 15in2 per cube at 8ft3 per sub(32ft3 in total before the displacement. so really what im wondering is would i be better off to just do subs up and port backwith virtually all the room i need or go ahead with a slightly smaller wall than what i wanted, oh im tuning it to 32hz so if that helps either position better than the other, let me know your feedback please.oh its inan astro panel van, plus im putting 1 amp per pair so theyll be recieving around 8k rms @4ohms per pair, 16k in total, plus does the smaller box or bigger box acccomidate loading better?

    help with dp 21's

ok well no feedback from my thread in the sub topics so im reposting similar in here, ive got four of the dp 21's and i need help on enclosure type and size, i like bass thats loud and low, i have an astro van so room isnt too big of an issue, 21's are new to me so i need all the help i can get, what would be better for my situation, 8 or 10 cubes per sub and what would be the best port size per cube and what should i tune it to, hopefully the people on this section have had the pleasure of experiencing the joys of hearing the 21's firsthand, also what would be the best box setup for all out loud walled by the b pillars, walled all the way to the back or in the back with the subs up and port back please help me out here so i can get the best use out of my quartet, oh i will be powering them with 2 jbl a6000gti amps , is this too much, i have three i could get one more for one on one action if they could take it , all opinions will be greatly appreciated, thanks

    4 dp 21's

Ok so i got four of the 21 inch i.a dp's and im not sure what size or style box that would get the most out of them. would it be better with subs up and port back or in a wall either all the way back or right next to the b pillars. keep in mind this is going in an astro panel. also would they be better in an 8 cube box or 10 cube box. i like low bass so im pretty sure ill do a port at 32hz but size im not sure as ive never had 21's i have two 18's in now (audioque) and they are loud as hell with subs up port back in 12 cube net tuned at 35 hz please give me some opinions on what to do

    help with dp 21's

well as of now i was planning on puttting two subs per amp with the 4 death penaltys i dont think id have enough room to go 6 with the subs up and port back because id have no room for the amps or batteries each amp is damn near 3 foot by 2.5 feet by like 1 foot plus they do weigh 125 pounds per amp ill probably do like 8 batteries, over 100pounds per batt, plus 6 subs that weigh over 60 pounds per so that might not be such a good idea ill probably just stick with the 4 i also plan on using 2 inch thick mdf this local company produces plus its only like 30 dollars a sheet but it is very very heavy i dont know what im gonna do yet
