when setting your gains on amps why cant you turn them all the way up. and if you have them less then half way are you still getting the rated power of the amp. say if the amp is 1000w RMS are you getting that no matter what the gains are set too..... jamie

how much would you guys pay for a billet alluminum subwoofer grill to fit your sub no matter the size or shape it is.... i can have them made but there a little pricey, so im trying to get an idea on who would pay to have them... im going have a few made plus if someone wanted something else on the grill i can make it for a little more, so it would be one of a kind.... remember this is billet aluminum not no cheap plastic so the price of the aluminum and the cost of useing a C-N-C machine is not cheap, but if i have a few orders i can get the price down... jamie

im going to be hosting a crank it up in jennings louisiana at sonic drive inn. its going to start at 2pm... (this will be a small car/truck show also) this will be a nosanction event, this is something im doing to meet and help ppl with there system's. as of right now it's looking like its going to be a good turn out, but the more the marryer.... there will be only a first place given, just tell i see how it go's. if everythink works out ill have more events around and second, third place trophys.... this is the class's ive came up with, now i know its not perfect but i think it will be fair.... i need a 15" sub for around $200.00 or lower that can handle 500w @2ohm and likes ported box. its going in a older accord so room is not that big of a deal. im thinking pf a box around 3.4 - 4 cuft after displacement tuned to around 36hz or so. the sub needs to be new so start giveing me idea's on sub's. im trying to use something new that i never used before so i can hear a new sub.... jamie
