i just bought a termlab usb meter and soon will get a laptop to use with it. im going to start hosting crank it up's around were i live (south louisiana) to try to get more people involved and to meet people. the first one will be in jennings louisiana at sonic drive inn on May 1st then every first saturday of the month after that. im also working on haveing others elsewere, i have talked to people and others have talked to people so hopefully we might be haveing one every weekend here and there. (its also a car/truck show so if you have a car/truck to show off bring it on) so if your from the louisiana area and would like to go to one of these just email me or pm me. or if you think you can find a place to have them get in touch with me. this will be small compared to say USACI or DBDRAG but we all have to start somewere. LOL. i hope this grows and im able to get people to help out so we can have bigger prices and bigger events. they will be prices to win also like amps, subs, box ect ect.... THIS IS THE CLASS'S STOCK 1-2 subs/1-amp/1200w@1ohm 3-4 subs/2-amps/2400w@1ohm 5-up subs/3-amps/3000w@1ohm all stock pannels has to still be in car 1-battery/1-cap meter has to be on windsheild can't rev moter no wall SUPER MOD 1-2 subs/2-amps/unlimited 3-4 subs/4-amps/unlimited 5-up subs/6-amps/unlimited unlimited batterys and caps meter has to be on windsheld 2000rpm rev limit yes wall EXTREME MOD 1-2 subs/unlimited amps/power 3-4 subs/unlimited amps/power 5-up subs/unlimited amp/power unlimited btterys and caps meter can be anywere in front of the B-piller unlimited rev yes wall $10.00 to enter and $5.00 every run after raffles will be $20.00 and will be a monthly thing (so $20.00 for a $200.00-$300.00 amp not bad) only the 1st place winner will get a trophy, just until we get bigger. this is just a few rule i came up with, if anybody can point something out that i might have miss please feel free to do so. i am new at this and need advice on anything you can offer. ill post more when i can get more info..... thanks jamie

No offense, but I'm not a fan of designs like this at all, for some practical reasons: Primarily, if you lay out your enclosure like that, you've completely inset the baffle panel... and over time, your subwoofer's violent in-and-out cone motions do jackhammer on those joints, potentially causing stress fractures at the joints, or cracking and leaking if the enclosure wasn't perfectly built. I prefer to overlap my baffle panels over all other panels - top, bottom, and sides. I then overlap my top and bottom panels over the side panels... leaving the side panels of course inset on all sides, overlapped by all other panels. Building the box this way ensures maximum strength and build quality. Here's a quick diagram (sometimes I recess my side panels as well, to facilitate carpeting with a little more seamless appearance): yea thats how i build my boxs jamie
