Interesting... Nick @ IA and Nick @ SI... Do I see a Mag vs FL in the near future?
-
http://www.parts-express.com/wizards/searc...amp;srchMfg=419 That is all I could find. Audiopulse is... no more... I would give the Dcon a shot too or IA Lethal subs. Hope that helps, Kelvin
-
Actually I think it is the other way around. Please check the above post. Always read Havoc was more of a low end monster having higher output overall. Kelvin

Thx Greg What about the VLX? Any info to share?
-
The broader audience wants either 150x6 or a 75x2+125x2+250x2 staggard. Fixed. The 150x6 would get my vote. 8ohm tweet + 4ohm mid + 2ohm midbass

With the new basket, depth has increase/stayed the same/decrease? Just a stupid question to expand the thread -
Hybrid-Audio guys: What Head unit and/or processor are you using?
subwoofery replied to johnecon2001's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Believe it should be around $800 if I remember correctly. Add $350 for the optional frequency corrector (don't know how it's called) Kelvin -

I'm sorry I did not read the whole thread but I wanted to know. What's your lineup: "E"con --> "D"con --> "X"con --> "I"con ? -
Depends what you plan on cash-in': Best SQ would be those ones: Aura Sound NRT (believe it would make a nice home theater sub, rumbling is excellent, no more, no less) Focal Utopia Be 33WX2 (more efficient than most 12s which is a +) Dynaudio Esotar

What do you guyz think of those?...

If I can find a rep I will -
A mid made by CIARE (Italian company) for Car Audio. They have a bunch of products home and car... even horns like ID but I don't know what they are worth. http://oaudio.de/media/products/0861656001182438423.pdf I was thinking of pairing those with my ID CD1v.3 horns for a 2way front stage. The new version has pretty much the same specs except for the Fs = 75hz // Re = 3ohm // Qts = 0.16 // Qes = 0.16 // Qms = 4.88 // Mms = 13.19. Your opinion appreciated, Kelvin

oups, completely forgot about that thread... Do they think that they have a good midrange or are they just for SPL and midbass? -
How would you raise a seat? Can you post pics of what is needed to raise seats? I need to do it too but dunno how...

tube car audio amplifiers?
subwoofery replied to bristabrock's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You would need a lot of knowledge for a DIY home amp project --> car... -
... wrong thread lol

Well I am using K3Ps and all I can say is that for better imaging, I'd like to keep the tweeter as close to the midrange as possible. If you're going 3 way, you could try to have the tweeter high in the door, the 4" just below it and the midbass low in the door. (like a home audio speaker) - would be easier this way. However, if you plan to go to a pro-installer, then you can try different speaker placement and listen what sounds good. I like the Focal tweeter, might be bright for some - love or hate sound. Listen to as much speaker as you can before deciding. Hope that helps, Kelvin
