Hey Jazz, the only reason I jumped on this web site is because I new Chad before he started selling his own designs. The market went towards the cars and the kids, so here I am. I tried to sell my, well you know, just because some people were looking for some of these drivers. So I wonder, are they promoting audio, NO, they have there own agenda. I have two teenage boys and I do not want any more. See you here I wish I knew when they were coming out. Anyone

Ouch!! SO,did you gamble away your tuition? Or did you flunk out of pre cal? I'll say it... Just because someone may have a degree in Electrical Engineering doesn't mean they know squat about designing speakers.

Who is doing your open baffle. A buddy of mine, certified EE, did mine and discouraged another friend of doing an open baffle line array. I do not remember why, however, this driver is a low playing driver and my box has four 3" ports in ea tower.

I bought a pair of Koss Porta Pros back in the eighties. Listened to them on a casetdeck, Walkman, MP3 player and Ipod. I have sent them in for replacement, worn out and life time warranty, 3 times with $5 (now $6) S/H. Small fold up. SPL 101 which saves on batteries, 15HZ-over 20KHZ. Every one who has listned to them, bought them----under $50. I build speakers and tube amps, so I am picky about the sound. The iPod buds suck. This is an excellent buy. Check E-Bay too.

Not much into the car audio, however, I do have an excellent HT. Two towers with MTMWW in each. The father of MTM designed them and I built them. The center and rears a friend. All Focal drivers. As for the subs, let me see. In the hunt for couch moving bass, several 15" Dayton's, 13" Focal, and a 15" Blueprint, ported and sealed....for output nothing I have built or listened to, including passive radiator, beats ported. Ported my not be musical, except my 11V75 poly dual woofers in each tower, but it will move my couch. BIG BOXES, nothing smaller than 5.5cu'. Now I think 18" would scratch the Itch, that was my next plan-TWO and ported. But that may just be me, take a poll! Paul

I have 2 polys left. I am using 9+9 carbons in the line array. If you are doing the MTMs, I have new xovers made and two baffles cut and recessed for the M&T. The line arays will be 11"x72".

You are correct. We have a little DIY group here in Dallas. We have a EE who is heavy into xover design, and he is good at it. He said the poly is flatter, but I have more carbon drivers. He is going lower with the xover frequency and using the Seas, Let me look it up.......27TBFC\G hard dome (I like HARD domes, My focal towers have TC120s, older model tweeters, MtMWW another story) that goes below the breakup. I think he said the carbons go lower----dam, how low can you go!! It will be MMMTMMM with a taper. I am having a hard time getting the Water Fall Babinga, or even figured. I will try to send some pics of a HT system I did, 3 MTM's and 2 MT,s. I need to get some subs from Chad. I will try to get the pics out. I am working on a DYNACO MKIII also, and too much other crap, but I will try to get them out. A friend just grabbed two!

I have 4 new in box poly mids, two XT25s and two XOVERS for 2 MTMs I can part with. I am doing a small line array with the carbon fiber and a Seas tweeter.
