Using liquid bed liner for enclosure/floor/amp rack finish
mccleery3 replied to altoncustomtech's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
I've had no chipping, scratching, or marks of any kind show up on my enclosure. It has been pulled out and reinstalled probably 4-5 times over the last 3 months without a blemish -
***Just a little update on the t-shirts for everyone that's waiting currently*** Chop has had a rediculous work schedule as of late and the central air went out in his home. He had to get the air back up and going by any means he could, so the personal funds were tapped out. The shirts will still be mailed out but are currently on hold. Sorry for the delay but I'm sure that everyone can understand, especially with the circumstances of extreme heat as of late. I'll try to keep any other updates that are brought to my attention available as soon as possible.

I had mine done by a local spot that does the spray on type. As far as I know it was just sprayed directly onto the enclosure without any kind of primer. Overall I'm very happy with the way it looks and will do it again but it was a learning experience as well. I will tell you though that it won't completely cover any imperfections, so make sure it's smooth and the way you want it. -
I feel ya on the funds bro I'm hoping to get some team pricing info in the next couple days on a bunch of Sundown stuff. Not sure of what I can do and how soon it could be done until I get the prices I'm off to Buffalo Wild Wings for 45cent wing tues.

This is a video from when they first got installed. The setup is a little different now and I've had time to break them in and tune since.

I have 4 in 5cu net or 1.25cu per using 3-4" psp's tuned to 33hz being ran off a SAZ-1500D @ 1ohm and it slams I think 2 should be sufficient but I'm sure someone else will chime in that is more knowledgable to give you the precise answer. 5 should be sick and will give you lots of wide eyed "holy shit, those are 8's" responses

Displacement is .1 and you'll have to wait for Jacob/Sundown to restock them before you can purchase.

Decisions, decisions, decisions I'm trying to decide between 4-SA10's or 3-SA12's in 4-4.5cu on either another SAZ-1500D strapped, a SAZ-2500D or SAZ-3500D The 8-SA8's could still be in the mix if I went with the minimal airspace requirements (.6cu each or 4.8cu net) but I'm really liking the thought of 10's. The issue I have with the 8's is that all 8 would need to be purchased since the 4 I have are D2's. Whatever input anyone has is welcomed.

Head Unit???
mccleery3 replied to joe_prince's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Once you make a decision on which HU, al-eds.com is a good resource. They do internet price matching and free shipping along with being authorized retailers for everything they sale I bought my Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD from them for $425 shipped I would've purchased my Kenwood KDC-X794 from them as well but a local shop price matched them -
I voted for the G-body I've had a 79 regal and a 86 cutlass......wish I never had got rid of them
