As far as I know, there were no IAK family members in that area. My ex-mother inlaw lives a few miles away & felt the explosion. They are fine though. I'm sure others can chime in & give a report for themselves specifically.

BTW Dave, thanks for taking the time to mess with some design options the other night. It's much appreciated bro! It seems these little set backs are giving me more time to consider all my options. I'm deciding on # of subs, comps, & what amp/amps.....lol! I know, worse than a damn women trying to make these decisions. The "new idea" 6 Sundown E15D4's in 18cu net tuned to 32hz, SAZ-3500D 1 set SA 6.5CS in factory positions, SAX-125.2 This is until I see what Uncle Sam decides on whether I get a nice tax return.

Sundown is my best option as far as pricing goes, I get team pricing. I know that I have 50" W & I believe 50" L as well, H is pretty flexible. Currently, the enclosure H is @ 24".I'm not concerned with being below window line. I don't plan on competing, just a daily driver.

I can't make my damn mind up! The only thing I'm 100% of is that I will be running a 3.5k amp @ .5ohm. It's either 8-15's or 8-12's ported & tuned @ 32hz. If I run the 15's, they would require 24cu net minimally. I can lower the needed net volume of the enclosure to 16cu with the 12's & run them more efficiently. Any thoughts & or suggestions? A little more info.....I previously ran 4-18's on 6k in a undersized enclosure (17cu net). They metered right @ about 150db. I'm trying to attain a comparable level by being much more efficient. I've sold the 18's, so not building another more suitable enclosure for them.

David is busy 1st trying to learn the ways of bassmaster Sean/Sizzzon before beginning this latest build. It is up to him & his dedication as to how long this process will take. He must spend hrs, days, & months listening to the master as his knowledge is increased. Hopfully it can all be attained & utilized in time for Slamology next June.
