    Local car audio shop

I went to a local shop yesterday and asked about building a box. The idiot asked me about my subs(2-15" IA LI), said he'd never heard of them, then suggested his MTX9500's. He told me stay away from internet companies because they rebadged mainstream stuff. Needless to say I said "thanks and have a good day"..lol

    mids/highs static

I had a old pioneer deck do the same thing with the rca's. It drove me nuts trying to find it. I used a different source and "poof" speakers sounded like they were supposed too.

    enough port?

Thanks guys! I'm thinking 5-4" would work better for me with the space I have.

    enough port?

Well I purchased 2 IA LI 15's and want to build a box 8 cubes after displacemnt. I'm wanting to use the psp ports to tune it to 32hz. My question is can I use 4-4" ports and have enough port area? Psp's calculator says 14.61" in length for my desired tuning but a local shop told me do 6" ports. Which is going to work better? ------this is going in my 07 Ford Escape with usable dim. of 40wx22dx22h

    enough port?

I thought I've read in another post somewhere that with these ports they don't require as much area. I could be wrong, and probably am, which is why I started this topic.

    Trade-In Program

That would be sweet! I'm trying to sell my JL 300/4 so I can have all Sundown amps. A trade toward the 100.4 would be excellent.

Box calculations, any help would be appreciated

I'm trying to figure out disp. for 4-4" psp ports with a length of 14.61" each in a 8 cube net box, any help is greatly appreciated. Sorry for the slight thread jacking, but why start another for such a similar question?

    Diablo's Build Log

Still a good score considering, I understand the disapointment though. The charging kids for termlab use is a great idea!! Use the loot for future purchases..lol
