Replacing the primary battery with a larger one will be a fix of sorts but I would think you'll still have dimming at that power level. Perhaps you should give your goals, listening preferances, and a max price point so that everyone can offer more ideas. I'm sure you'll find lots of help from everyone here to get you within your weight limitations and overall goals. Good luck with the build! -
I believe some have used the rattle can stuff from walmart or any hardware store. You probably want to use a primer first as mdf will soak up the paint quickly.

Hmmm, I'm thinking of selling off the JL 300/4 and getting one of these to match my SAZ-1500D. By feb. I should be a serious Sundown representative when the SA8's come out, doing 4! LOL! Damn you Jacob, my pockets are gonna be really empty in the next few months now...haha!

Just in case anyone else was interested in the displacement question, Jacob has told me that .1 would be about right. I'll be ordering 4 of these hopfully by the end of this month : ) 4cubes net tuned to 32-35hz..........mmmmmmmmmmm!
