Some sort of Earthquake from a couple years ago. Thought it was the d3 or d4 at first, but they are both a little smaller than this monster.

I had that same problem with sound deadener. I live in Atlanta so the trunk can get very hot!. I used the cheaper Edead and it just didn't stick. Thought I could save a bit by going with the thinner material. I tried Dynamat Extreme next and that stuff is there over 2 years later.

Yeah, but for some reason I can't upload an AVi file. I have quite a few others but unfortunately most f them are in this file format. Will have to work on converting them.

I have the Focal 165K2's and are quite pleased with them. They are getting 75 RMS and they sound great.

Lastly, I can't remember the whole story on the James Jean Atoic sub explosion. If I remember correctly the sub was hooked to two microwaves (Audiobahn SPL5000)'s and a flame literrally came out of the sub! Not sure about the truth to it, but there does seem to be some damage!

Guess we know the excursion limits on an HCCA. Tough way to find out though.

Next is a toasted Autotek MX sub. Wonder how much power it took.?

Next is the JL W3. Hmm, don't think it is supposed to do that either. Reminds me of a slinky getting all tangled up, now that was a PAIN!

This is a pic of my old EXP. Notice the silver duct tape around the ports and such. I got a friends brother to believe that we were going to tape the whole interior with that stuff because it is shiny and refelcts sound better than anything else. Was pretty funny.

Anyone ever been here? There is a coal mine fire burning underneath the old town. They closed of a section of road and here is a cool pic of it. Yes, that is smoke coming from the road.

Was bought by Earthquake earlier this year I believe. Um, I think they will have their own line of subs still, but not sure.

And if anyone is unsure about what the sub looks like, well, um, I think I have a pic or two somewhere:)

Just a note to add to this, my buddy with the (2) 12's just hit a 143.3 on a WR meter at an IASCA show today.
