as far as budget goes, i have 100 to spend right now so id have to save up for the rest but id like to keep it under like 300 if possible and about the ss, i thought the prices went up since september ended but correct me if im wrong... i might be getting an sx12 used so id go for that, if not then a new sx10 because itll fit easier in my reg cab, but if the ss is still at the lower prices then id like to get an Rl-p 12 and i could use the JL 500/1 that i already have to power it...... o yea, and i dont think the 500/1 would be powerful enuf to push an sx, or would it? i hate it im so indecisive..... Tom -
I have a regular cab truck so Id be VERY interested in some powerful 8s......hint hint Thanks Tom

The Super Exciting Study Guide for Test #1 Remember, the test shall consist of multiple choice (A-E, or A-D) questions, so be sure to pick up a Scantron sheet (882-E) from the bookstore and bring a number 2 pencil. Also, please note that this list is not all inclusive, but should serve as an excellent starting point for studying. And so without further ado

i hope this is the right section butt.... Im still a nexb to box building and I want to make a ported box. It will house two sound splinter Rl-p 12s. I still need to find an amp so i dunno the exact wattage ill be giving them, but i want to give them like 600-800 a piece so thatd be 1200-1600 total. I want kind of an LSQ tuning so would 34hz be alright? (thats what the site suggests) If not then just tell me what you guys would think the best LSQ tuning would be. Then how do I figure out the dims of the slot port once i kno what hz i want??

thanx alot man but a few more questions lol - since its in the shape of a "truck box"(deeper on the top than the bottom) ill definently need to make the port have a few turns inside the box. how deep (length from the hole of the port to the wall of the first "turn") does it need to be? -does it matter where the end of the port inside the box faces? (assuming it would be the correct length) thanx alot guys Tom
