Yes I've used it,still have it. Adjust the first two settings,depending on amp output my need the 10x probe if you already have it play around with the three.....you'll figure it out,what I had to do

Everything is recorded at different levels,your going to be fine on the song you use it on,may clip on the next,or leave power on the table. Unless your burping tones,i don't see the need for it

I've heard the protection on them don't work near as well when strapped! Reason why you hear not to do it most of the time. And as stated one goes it's very likely to take the other with it. -
