And not just because that's what the engine did!Could be a first...Lol, it's a 4.0 thang. Jeep guys always make fun of Ford for it. The 4.0 had an issue with timing chains mainly which made the explorer get dubbed the "exploder" to begin with since jumping a couple teeth could make the engine basically in a term "explode" causing valves and rods to go bent and break everywhere. I have owned a 97 explorer, although it was a 5.0 model 302. To me a car is a car and is only as good as how well you take care of it. I show no favortism towards brands, but I will throw a joke once in a while against others nonchalantly. I know this will be loud. If not Senchez knows I'll give him crap about it so it better be. That's probably the most shamefull thing I've seen in a while. I'll remember to give him a call after lunch to inform him of the piracy. Although he's humble enough he probably won't even worry about it. That man's involvement in the industry is why 95% of the product on the market is out there.
