  1. I was wondering if anyone had experience with the JL Audio Stealth Box or similar products. I am considering a stealth install in my 07 Tahoe, with this as the possible cornerstone of low frequencies. I am also considering Diamond d661s component with the silk vs the aluminum tweeter. I plan on using these in the factory locations 6.5 mids in the doors and tweeters in the A panels ie the factory locations. I was also considering USD 6.5 mid bass in the rear doors also in the factory location about 6 inches behind the front buckets. Amps (amp) are/is up in the air. I was considering a 4 or 5 channel of unknown origin to achieve the solution. Musical tastes run the gambit from Quincy Jones to Dr. John. I'm not looking to blow windows out but do enjoy a nice butt tickle now and then <G>. If there is a DIY solution to the sub in a hidden situation that you are aware of, I would be most appreciative of the information. Thanks in advance for any assistance or ideas you care to share. Best Regards R

Good Evening from San Antonio TX. I am very lucky to have found this forum and appreciate the opportunity to share information and ideas from quite a bit of history in the 12 volt arena. My current project is a 2007 Tahoe; very stealth. I'm in the planning stages at present. I plan on utilizing the factory changer, and keeping the steering wheel controls and XM along with OnStar. So thats the plan. Now for the selection of equipment and execution of the install. I do have an EQL Audio Control in house so I guess you could say I've started <G>. Anyway, I appreciate the venue and look forward to the assistance and assisting. At 62 years of age, if it's too loud, you're too old !! Best Regards... R
