New Mach 5 Build - Zero Power Compression
ddeitz replied to mrogowski's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Rumor on the street is this is actually a funky pup straight from alpha centauri itself. It is apparently rumored to have brought to earth by xenu who had stolen it from the grey aliens and hid it here on earth. That is what they are here for, to find and reclaim the most powerful object in the verse. The origins of the where this funky pup was made to begin with is unknown. Some say it was made to jump-start dying suns, Or that if you hold it up to your ear that you can hear jesus. Others say it the last time it was turned on the aftershock of it created the big bang. All i know is..more pics! glad to see its finally taking shape, i know its been on mark's mind for quite some time now. -
Was alot of fun, i enjoyed it 14 theme parks, bungee jumping in 2 locations. Few monuments and other landmarks ect and some nice views. Finished the box for the van on tuesday so that gives me some more room in the garage to work on the CRX easier.

Oh snap you got it all up and running. Congrats, im sure your glad to get things up and running now

The 8kw cannot really be beat dollar for dollar and pound for pound. The rest of the line is basically the same way. Maybe im bias because i own some
-
^^ oh pricing would be nice to see, im pretty curious actually. Comeon mark everyone wants to see some prices!!
-
So if your not currently working on it, does that means its done
-
Im sure the gravitational force created by the pup caps alone will pull a few people in here.
-
Im pretty sure if the OP didnt use caps to start, and the annoying picture, people would help you more. As for the 19g suggest for your stereo ..thats one way todo but you dont need to spend that much. So far no one has really tried to help you, and the one good, but fairly high estimate shizzon gave you, was very far off of what you had to spend, but realistically...he did give a pretty good layout and that would be a good way to go about doing it. I would suggest doing some reading though, and come with some of your own answers. Just take your time and do it the right way. If you dont want to spend a ton of money you are going to have to learn some things and do some research about what fits your needs. If you have 20g then just take shizzon's list and order it, its a good start.

because 3 10's is louder then 2 12's normally and louder then 1 15 and or 2 10's is louder then 1 12s

Soooo, who uses 1 battery in the front with such high power ? Or who has auxiliary batteries in the front and the amps in the back ? well i guess if you were running a few 200 amp alts with a single run of 1\0 to your amp...however thats just asking for trouble anyway. You can fit 2 1\0's into a single terminal anyway if you do not think 1 is not enough. However if your batteries are close enough, then your fine. Unless you like to spend more on wire.
-
that does include when the run is under 1 foot? and if your still THAT worried, just put 1\0 runs into the 1 hole. No need to have 10 inputs on an amp.
-
They are class D amps IIRC
-
You should be able to squeeze a bit more outta that set up as well
-
Murilo i believe did a 156.5 in street B with 2 SD 8000 amps and about a weeks worth of work at Spring Break Nationals this year.
-
If you just want daily\moving some air. Go ahead and do 18's wallled. However, you can be just as loud with a pair of 12's or 3 or even some 10's. So the choice is yours. But you will not be louder walled.

I would trust Db-r they are actually the authorized sundown repair center, so they know the product. Also, once something is fixed does not mean it will break again it could have been broken for many reasons.
-
Thats one hell of a slick dash.
-
I love that port, good job

Chocolate for me please.
