From the sounds of your settings I'm gonna guess you had your Bass EQ Nob turned up too.

Bought some Soundquest 0 Gauge to 4 Gauge converters to clean up a bit, was really messy shoving 1/0 gauge wire into a 4 gauge hole. Planning on doing the Big 3 Tomorrow, and possibly building a new box on Tuesday. Also thinking next month I'm gonna upgrade to some GCONs or ICONs not sure yet though.

How do you figure a 125amp fuse with 1/0 gauge wire? I though you fused based on the amperage the wire can safely carry

I would say yes, but someone else might be able to give you a more positive answer. It also depends on the brand/type of wire you're using though too.

60 Amp inline fuse seems very small considering the 1200RMS Brutus have what 2 70 Amp fuses in them?

The crossover is fixed @80hz, I do believe that means nothing under 80hz gets through. Yeah you're right, I wasn't thinking right when I was looking at it.

I used 8 Gauge wire with a 80 AMP Fuse to push a 1500 Watt amp. My fuse holder melted before my fuse blew.

What size cable and fuse were you using, and also how much power are you pushing to your subs?

Wouldn't you want an adjustable HPF? instead of being limited to JUST 80 hz?

Most likely the fuse was lose and overtime between engine vibrations/road conditions it loosened itself up just enough.

I have 2 OA 15's i'm running them at 300 RMS Each right now and I have to say I have 0 Complaints. Cant wait to up my electrical system so I can feed them more, they're really begging for it.
