They are awesome! I wish I had some more music with LOWS, it's absolutely brutal in there on some low songs. But overall, with the majority of my music being rock or country, it sounds great and blends nicely. Good to hear, I listen to everything but lately I've been in a big country and rock phase. what are your box specs? I'm thinking about going a bit bigger than I had planned on. You are running the 3k still right?

Awesome! How are you liking them in the new enclosure?

The lpf is fine at 150 if you like your sub playing frequencies that high. I usually set mine at ~80. What kind of space do you have available? The only good thing about the DD1 is that it seems to have a good resale value.- 19 replies

Seems to me given your box size limitations the Nighshades have the ZCON beat. I had my single ZCON 15 in 5 net, although I didn't have nearly as much power as you do.

need wiring help on my SA 6.5 components

That just means that you can't run less than two ohms per channel. -

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking or not. Wire each mid and tweet to it's dedicated passive crossover, and then from each crossover to it's own channel on the amp. -
I'd say that you are looking at the full 21 business days (plus or minus a few days) due to the extra orders around the holidays. I can tell you that the wait sucks, but once you receive the sub you will quickly forget about the wait.

The DD1 = garbage. Are you against using a ported enclosure?- 19 replies

No worries man, I'm not even sure if he wanted to split them up anyway. Now you can get one straight from the factory, and help support a great company!
-
Just saw that you need a 2 ohm load, send him a PM and you might be able to grab one right away!
-
It is worth the wait man. What coil configuration are you looking for? Tirefryr has two D4's that he is selling brand new.

Numbers?
-
What size port? What electrical?
-
Where did you get the enclosure?
-
No, in my opinion the Chaos is not worth 100 more. But again either one is a good choice.

Interesting, are they freshly re coned?

I'm not saying it is, but before seeing his score I would not have expected it to be that high. BUT gaining 2 db when you are that high isn't easy, I do agree that it is within reach though.
-
That's a bold statement. Considering his power, tuning, and cone area I am super impressed with his score.

Sometimes shipping time will vary a bit depending on what you ordered. It IS worth the wait though

158.6 isn't half bad either!
