They are a great all around sub. The enclosure will play more of a role in that aspect than the sub. -
That kind of attitude will help.

They came out with a new one? -
So I just moved my XCON into the garage yesterday because I was planning on putting them both in tomorrow. This morning while half asleep I bumped my toolbox and a heavy ratchet fell directly onto the dust cap..... After getting the dust cap off I was surprised to see this. So I'm assuming this means that I can still put them both in tomorrow, and just put the cap on when it arrives? (Thanks to Aaron for taking care of me super fast!)

Bypass the hu completely. From the amp straight to the battery, and straight to your phone. -

What do u mean another audio source? Try an iPod or your phone. -
Yeah apparently everyone I show this to does lol. This will be my practice run, and the CF caps will be next. I don't want to get them and have them come out crappy.

Try wiring the amp remote to a different 12v source and see if it acts normal. -

And port area is not determined by box volume. -

I wouldn't a 3" is only ~7 square inches of port area, a 4" is even on the small side. -

No man I meant port area, ONLY the opening of the port not the depth.
