The BF/Christmas sales seemed to really cripple them this year. Like I said before waiting sucks, but I will continue to buy from them as their products are awesome. I have also never had an issue with contacting them.

This has been discussed multiple times, but I agree that something should be done. I'm sure that most people would pay a little extra for a shorter wait time and better communication. Pay someone to handle calls, emails, sweep the floor, wash the toilets, browse the forum, organize paperwork etc. This will cut down on the time that everyone else has to waste on those tasks, allowing for more build time. I'm no business man but I'm sure that sales are lost solely due to build time and communication issues, so if you fix that and sell more, you can afford to pay an extra guy. Either way I will most likely buy from them again.

What are you trying to achieve?? -
On 650 a piece they are pretty brutal in my trunk car so I can only imagine what yours will sound like on that much power in your vehicle.

I just put my second 12 in on only 1300 rms for the pair and I am thrilled with the performance! Sounds beast mode, still waiting on my Xcon man. I can tell you that those Zcons I'm using slam on 4K strapped. The bass is intense in there. Going to exchange head units , and also install a MLA module to get little higher voltage. On that power the XCON's should sound awesome!

I love mine too! Are you the guy who said his wife wasn't sure because you guys hadn't heard of SSA before lol? If I'm wrong my bad haha.

As long as there is nothing that will damage the surround, and you set it down gently nothing bad will happen.

Where are the nudes??? JK....kind of.

Ehhh, Idk about that lol.

I would say that it is stupid because I would definitely measure what space you have before coming to any decisions. Until you measure I honestly wouldn't go any further. Please don't get offended by the comments that you are receiving as you are asking for help without doing anything to help us help you. Once you get us some dimensions we can guide you toward what will work best for your application.

7-10 foot amp ground? bad idea?
ricksi30 replied to mason_herold's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You fuse according to the wire you use, not the amp. -

Seat bolts usually aren't the best place. You want to ground to the frame if at all possible. -

What do you drive? -
Do you mean only run one battery? After adding the second battery my voltage is up, and dimming is much better. If I'm not following what you are saying let me know.Your first picture shows a blue power wire routed directly over the engine. Just saying there is a better way to do it. Has really nothing to do with multiple runs. Just a thought. Ohhhh, okay I see what you mean now. Yeah I have been thinking about rerouting the wires that are over the engine. I haven't had any issues, but as of now I rarely ever drive this car. I will definitely see what I can do about it. Thanks for the input!

Damn, hair trick from that far away! I hope to hear this thing some day. Any plans for more power? Not that it needs it, just curious.

ricksi30 replied to Mtxplod's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
you're very correct about them being sensitive. but i think that I'm starting to understand this. The damping factor is killed when playing music at loud volumes and because of that the impedance can fall below the nominal load? Impedance can fall to the nominal load, which in your case is .5 and too low for that amp. -

And here http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/30610-why-daily-systems-should-not-count-on-impedance-rise/ Plus from what I have heard those amps are pretty sensitive. -

You need to be concerned about your starting impedance. you wouldn't mind explaining to me how the amp sees that when its not putting out would you? Thanks. Look up one post. A quote from someone on here much more knowledgeable than I am. -
